  • Publication number: 20090199607
Abstract: A lock includes a shell, an annular holding member, and a bead holder; the shell has three gaps around its lock hole; the annular member is held in the shell, and has a central shaft, three gaps, and several holes each holding a pine therein; the bead holder is positioned around one end of the shaft in the shell, and has cavities around its middle hole; long beads are held in the cavities respectively, and biased towards the holes of the annular holding member with springs to engage the annular member; a key is used with the lock, which key has three outer bar portions; when the key is inserted in the lock hole, and pressed inwards, it will force the pins to push the beads, and its bar portions will be received in the gaps of the annular member; thus, the annular member can be turned with the key.

  • Patent number: 5195340
Abstract: A lock device includes a hollow cylindrical rod body with two retaining holes. The rod body has a closed end and an open end. A key plug assembly includes a tubular outer housing fixed in the open end of the rod body, and a push rod extending through the outer housing and movable in the outer housing between an unlocking position, where a portion of the push rod extends from the outer end of the outer housing, and a locking position, where the push rod extends from the inner end of the outer housing. In the rod body, a resilient element pushes a locking plate assembly toward the key plug assembly. When the push rod is pushed inward and is locked in the locking position in the outer housing, the resilient element is compressed between the locking plate assembly and the end wall of the rod body so that two notched lock bars extend through the retaining holes and the small-sized portions of the locking holes in the locking plate assembly, thereby preventing removal of the lock bars from the rod body.

  • Patent number: 5133203
Abstract: A cylinder lock includes a tubular housing in which a fixed hollow cylinder and a rotatable hollow cylinder are coaxially mounted. Several axial bores are formed in an end surface of the fixed hollow cylinder. The rotatable hollow cylinder also has several axial bores formed therethrough. Several tumbler units are received in the bores of the cylinders. Each of the tumbler units consists of a first tumbler pin, a second tumbler pin and a tumbler spring. A locking bar extends through the cylinders. A guide pin is mounted securely on the rotatable hollow cylinder and received slidably in the axially extending slide slot of the locking bar so as to enable synchronous rotation and relative sliding movement of the rotatable hollow cylinder and the locking bar. The engagement of the guide pin in the slide slot retains the locking bar on the lock. A resilient element biases the actuated end of the locking bar to extend from the housing. A spring-loaded retaining element is disposed on the fixed hollow cylinder.
