    Abstract: The disclosure provides a control method of a display driver. The control method includes receiving address information and defining an IC address according to the address information. The IC address includes n bits representing k zones, and n and k are positive integers. The control method further includes receiving the IC address, a black frame data signal and a pulse-width modulation (PWM) signal, and turning on or off the plurality of LEDs in the corresponding zone according to toggle of bit in the black frame data signal. Each bit in the black frame data signal indicates that a plurality of LEDs in a zone among the k zones are turned on or off.

The information data cannot be used for driving the display panel to present an image.

The method includes the following steps. Under each condition, output signals respectively corresponding to trim settings are received from the characteristic adjustable circuit by the characteristic outputting circuit to obtain output values of the condition, a statistical parameter associated with the output values of the condition is calculated by the tester. The statistical parameter of at least one of the conditions is written into the data memory by the tester. An optimal trim setting of the characteristic adjustable circuit is determined according to the statistical parameters under all the conditions and written into the trim memory by the tester.
