The rear stop ring further includes a larger diameter portion slightly larger than the inner diameter of the coupling section. The first coupling section of the slideable sleeve is firstly coupled with the smaller diameter portion of the rear stop ring. When the slideable sleeve is moved toward the driving end of the coupling rod, the coupling section of the slideable sleeve is tightly fit around the larger diameter portion of the rear stop ring.

A clip includes a notch and has a diameter slightly smaller than a spacing between upper and lower wall faces of the annular engagement groove and larger than a depth of the annular engagement groove. The clip is not on the same plane when placed flat. The maximum width between an upper edge and a lower edge of the clip is slightly larger than the spacing between the upper and lower wall faces of the annular engagement groove. The clip includes an engagement section received in the cutout and extending into the insertion hole.

The front welding face of each shank and the rear welding face of each bit are welded together, forming semi-products of woodworking spade bits which are heat processed, surface treated, and grinded to obtain final products.
