    Abstract: A method for determining the position of a mobile node applied to a roadside unit (RSU) is provided. The RSU and a plurality of mobile nodes form a communication network of a road. The method includes the steps of: obtaining, by, via at least one sensor, first road information, wherein the first road information provides absolute position distribution information associated with the mobile nodes; receiving, by a communication device, second road information from a first mobile node of the mobile nodes, wherein the second road information provides relative position distribution information associated with the first mobile node and second mobile nodes adjacent to the first mobile node; and determining, by a comparison device, the position of the first mobile node on the road according to the first road information and the second road information.

    Abstract: A cable-base sensor can detect a material level and temperatures of a material stored in a silo. The cable-base sensor comprises an electronic box, a cable, a stopper, and a signal processing module. The electronic box comprises a base and a space for containing the signal processing module, and a hole is formed through a bottom of the electronic box. The base is mounted in the bottom, and a tapered hole is formed through the base. A first end of the cable extents into the tapered hole and the hole, and spreads to form a cable bud. The stopper is a tapered block and pressed into the tapered hole for enforcing the cable bud to be sandwiched between the stopper and the base. The cable bud strengthens a connection between the electronic box and the cable for preventing damages from solid materials.

    Abstract: A level measuring device with an integratable lens has a radar level meter and an angle adjusting assembly. The radar level meter has a horn antenna and a lens antenna assembly mounted on a signal transceiving end of the radar level meter. The lens antenna assembly has a housing and a lens antenna. The housing is hollow and receives the horn antenna therein. One end of the housing is connected to the lens antenna, and the other end of the housing is connected to the signal transceiving end of the radar level meter. The angle adjustment assembly is mounted around the housing. As the lens antenna assembly covers the horn antenna, the horn antenna is less likely to be damaged. Additionally, the housing of the lens antenna assembly is connected with the angle adjusting assembly for angle adjustment of the combined horn antenna and lens antenna assembly.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a horn antenna device. The horn antenna device has a step-shaped signal feed-in apparatus and a conical horn antenna. The step-shaped signal feed-in apparatus has a stepped body having multiple stairs and a connecting pin. The stepped body is adapted to radiate electromagnetic waves and receive a reflection of the electromagnetic waves. According to the structure of the step-shaped signal feed-in apparatus of the invention, the resonating modes are easy to be determined. The directivity and the signal-to-noise rate are improved. In addition, the connecting pin is directly connected to the stairs for improving the signal stability of the horn antenna device.

    Abstract: A turbine vibrator has a housing, an eccentric rotor mounted in an air chamber of the housing and two covers mounted respectively in two mounting recesses of the housing. Two threaded walls defined respectively around the mounting recesses of the housing have same threaded directions. Therefore, the mounting recesses, the air chamber and the other mounting recess are formed sequentially so axes of the mounting recesses and the air chamber are disposed along a same line. Manufacturing processes of the housing is reduced and shearing forces applied to the shafts of the eccentric rotor are reduced so the turbine vibrator has a prolonged useful life. Moreover, as a rotating direction of the eccentric rotor and the fastening directions of the covers are the same, when the turbine vibrator operates, the covers tighten against the housing. The first and second covers do not drop from the housing.
