Abstract: An calibration kit includes a base, a combination of calibration parts, and a manipulation part. The combination of calibration parts is disposed on the base and includes a first calibration part and a second calibration part. The first calibration part has a first calibration surface. The second calibration part has a second calibration surface. The first calibration part and the second calibration part are relatively movable in a movement direction and are movable relative to the base. The manipulation part is movably or rotatably disposed on the base. The manipulation part is configured to be operable to drive the first calibration part and the second calibration part to move in the movement direction relative to the base, so that the combination of calibration parts forms a three-dimensional calibration surface configuration through the first calibration surface and the second calibration surface.

  • Publication number: 20080036978
Abstract: A projecting apparatus includes a power, a lamp, and a thermal controlling module. The lamp is energized from the power. The thermal controlling module includes a blower, an air duct, and a thermal break. The blower and an air duct, which connects the lamp and the blower, are for making and directing airflow through the lamp. The thermal break is electrically connected to the power and the lamp, and is disposed on the air duct and positioned adjacent the lamp. When the temperature in the projecting apparatus exceeds a predetermined value, the thermal break becomes a turnoff so as to allow the projecting apparatus to be shut off.

  • Publication number: 20080002156
Abstract: An optical projector comprising a main body and a sensing module is provided. The main body comprises a controlling unit, a heat-dissipating unit, a projection lens for projecting an image and at least a vent. The sensing module is disposed in the main body. The sensing module and the heat-dissipating unit respectively are electrically connected to the controlling unit. The hot air inside the main body exchanges with the cool air outside the main body through the vent. When the sensing module detects an external object approaching the vent, such as entering a predetermined range around the vent, the sensing module sends a signal to the controlling unit for activating an anti-overheating mechanism; for example, actuating the heat-dispersing unit or/and displaying a warning image on a screen.

Abstract: A lighting device and a temperature detection method thereof. The temperature detection method includes the following steps. A lighting device with an invisible-light filter is provided. The invisible-light filter reflects part of an invisible light of a light beam, generated by the lighting device, back to the lighting device to form a first beam. A thermally-sensitive detection device is then disposed in the lighting device, outside a propagation path of the first beam. The temperature in the lighting device is detected by the thermally-sensitive detection device.
