  • Patent number: 7427099
Abstract: A safety device for a folding chair includes a base, a handling piece, a pair of casings and a retaining piece. The retaining piece having a retaining hole is mounted on a bottom of a seat. The handling piece is pivotally connected inside the base, and the casing encloses the base and one of rear legs. The handling piece has a hook and a pressing portion at an upper end and a lower end respectively. When the seat is pressed down, the retaining piece glides between the hook and the rear leg. Then, the hook is engaged with the retaining hole. Therefore, the chair is locked in an open position and children's safety is ensured. When lifting the seat, the pressing portion is pressed to disengage the hook from the retaining piece. The chair is folded to a closed position.

  • Patent number: 7338116
Abstract: A folding chair includes front and back legs, a cushion frame, a cushion embedded in the cushion frame and has a hard board having air vents, a sound absorbing foam, and a back cushion connected with the inner edge of the front leg and includes a second hard board. The hard boards have curved surfaces form fitting with the human body. A securing hook has a bent hook to clasp with the cushion frame. An inserting section can make the cushion and a support block to be connecting together. The curved surfaces of the cushion and the back cushion are form fitting with the human body, and the sound absorbing foam can reduce the sound sent out from the air vents when sitting. When a child's center of gravity on the chair is shifted to the back of the cushion, the cushion does not tilt backwards.

  • Patent number: 7226123
Abstract: An improved structure for a seat supporting frame of a chair includes a seat, front legs and back legs mounted on the two sides, a horizontal support having flattened ends and forming a bent section. The bent section is welded with the inner side of the front leg. The two ends of the bent corners are formed with a curved section. The sides of the seat has vertical support pieces, one end of which is set on the side of the seating frame, and the other end is connected to the front leg. A stop abutment, mounted on the lower section of the vertical support piece, is firmly abutted to the inner side of the curved section of the horizontal support, so as to prevent it from sliding and fracture. The horizontal support, the front leg, the vertical support piece, and the stop abutment are held together tightly.
