The housing has a first sidewall and a second sidewall that are opposite to each other. The first sidewall has a first opening area and the second sidewall has a second opening area which is facing the first opening area. The heat dissipation plate is located inside the housing and covers at least one heat source. An opening that corresponds to the first opening area and contains the first fan penetrates through the heat dissipation plate. Each of the at least two second fans that include airflow exits facing away from the first fan is located nearby the heat dissipation plate. The housing includes side surfaces that connect the first sidewall and the second sidewall and have three side opening areas that are facing different directions.

Abstract: A fan rotation rate control device and the method thereof for controlling the rotation rate of the fan are provided. The fan outputs actual rotation rates and the control device includes a fan, a control unit, a processing unit and a thermal sensing unit. The thermal sensing unit is used to sense the temperature inside the heat generating device or the temperature of the heat source therein and outputs thermal sensing signals accordingly; the processing unit is coupled to the thermal sensing unit and receives the thermal sensing signal on which the determination of the preset rotation rate is based. Of which, the control unit which is coupled to the processing unit and the fan receives the preset and the actual rotation rates, while the control unit outputs modulation signals to the fan according to the difference between the actual and the preset rotation rates to achieve a precise control of the fan.

Abstract: A notebook computer with a small display panel is provided. The notebook computer includes a covering board and a platform. A pivot is used to joint the covering board with the platform. The small display panel being situated on the platform displays the speed and make of the Central Processing Unit (CPU), the signal receiving status during wireless communication, the battery capacity and the dynamic instant power consumption. Which not only provides the user with instant status of the notebook computer in a glance, but also helps the user to achieve a quick grasp of instant information.
