    Abstract: Provided is a touch sensor having a simple structure and enabling a driver to appropriately and quickly manipulate the touch sensor as intended without looking at a manipulation surface of the touch sensor. The touch sensor includes: multiple electrodes; detection means for detecting touch on any of electrodes and for outputting a detection signal for each electrode; touch judgment means for judging whether each of the electrodes is touched or untouched based on the detection signal; a switch having a manipulation button; control mode judgment means for determining a control function for a controlled device in accordance with an input signal transmitted from the switch when the manipulation button is manipulated; and permission means for permitting the touch judgment means to judge touch on each electrode in response to the input signal from the switch.

    Abstract: An electric steering lock device includes: a shaft which includes a male threaded portion and which is rotationally driven by an electric motor; a slider which includes a female threaded portion threadedly engaging with the male threaded portion and which advances and retreats in response to the rotation of the shaft; a lock member which is turnable between a locked position and an unlocked position in response to the advancement and retreat of the slider; a stopper which holds the lock member at the unlocked position by engaging with an engagement portion provided in the lock member, the stopper being movable in a direction orthogonal to a turning plane of the lock member; and a spring for biasing the stopper in an engagement direction. The stopper engages with and disengages from the engagement portion of the lock member by being moved by an operation portion provided in the slider.

    Abstract: A door handle device includes: a base member having handle supporting portions provided between a pair of supporting boards facing each other; a handle grip provided with an arm portion protruding at one end of the handle grip, shaft support portions provided on an extreme end of the arm portion and pivotally supported by the handle supporting portions of the base member, and an operating portion provided at the other end of the handle grip and configured to operate a lever provided on the base member; and a double torsion spring having a restriction portion extending between the pair of supporting boards of the base member, and hooked to the supporting boards of the base member by its own biasing force, in which a recessed portion with which the restriction portion of the double torsion spring is engaged is formed in the arm portion of the handle grip.
