Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for a gearcase of a motor and wheel set assembly configured to enclose a gear set, including a first case element, a second case element configured to mate with the first case element to contain lubricating oil for at least the gear set and a pinion, and a rubberized seal. In one example, a system may include permanent rubberized seals sealing an opening configured to receive the pinion, an interface between the first case element and the second case element and a bearing cap.

Abstract: A filter assembly and method include a body having first second surfaces defining a cavity between the surfaces. A conduit system is disposed within the cavity. The conduit system includes an inlet disposed at the first surface and receives a fluid mixture comprising a fluid and debris. The conduit system is shaped to separate a first portion of the fluid and a mixture of a second portion of the fluid and the debris. The conduit system includes a first outlet disposed at a position within the cavity and a second outlet disposed at the second surface of the body. The conduit system directs the mixture of the second portion of the fluid and the debris out of the conduit system and into the cavity of the body via the first outlet, and directs the first portion of the fluid out of the conduit system via the second outlet.
