  • Publication number: 20240111939
Abstract: A user experience repository may contain base layouts and variant metadata for applications of an enterprise. An application design platform may receive, from a designer, an indication of a selected base layout for a selected application and interact with the designer to create a user experience variant (e.g., a page layout). The designer may then define an assignment rule for the user experience variant, the assignment rule including custom logic and multiple user parameters (e.g., a user role, country, language, etc.), and the system may store information about the user experience variant and assignment rule. An enterprise application service platform may determine that a user is accessing the selected application and evaluate the custom logic of the assignment rule based on user parameters of the user accessing the selected application. In accordance with the evaluation, the system may arrange to provide the appropriate user experience variant to the user.

  • Patent number: 11934665
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable media for snapshotting ephemeral and/or volatile storage systems are provided. These techniques may include synchronizing that state of the ephemeral storage system to a cloud-based storage system and capturing a cloud snapshot of the cloud-based storage system. To reduce the time to capture a cloud snapshot, techniques disclosed herein include obtaining sets of pending data changes to the ephemeral storage system that have not been synchronized to the cloud-based storage system. When the pending data changes satisfy a threshold metric, the pending data changes may then be synchronized to the ephemeral storage system on a rolling basis.

  • Publication number: 20230083820
Abstract: The embodiments disclose a pulsed power generator system that can include a cantilever comprising a cantilever tip disposed on a lower surface of a first end and a permanent magnet mounted on an upper surface of the first end, wherein the cantilever is connected to an electric circuit at a second end, an electromagnet generating a time varying periodic magnetic flux, wherein the magnetic flux interacts with the permanent magnet to generate a direction-changing mechanical force that drives oscillation in the cantilever, a conducting pad, disposed adjacent to the bottom surface of the first end of the cantilever and configured so that the cantilever tip can contact the conducting pad. An oscillation of the cantilever causes the cantilever tip to periodically contact the conducting pad forming an electrical switch suitable for pulse generation through the electric circuit.

  • Publication number: 20220379285
Abstract: A method for the regeneration of effluent from an absorber capturing emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) from industrial sources. Reducing CO2 emissions from all sources is a key objective of most nations, and every industrial source of CO2 emissions has received extensive scrutiny. The method involves designing and installing on a source a proprietary thermal regeneration system for a sorbent used in the CO2 capture equipment system, which recirculates the sorbent liquid through an absorption column (absorber). Because sorbents used in these systems are expensive, it would be useful if the spent sorbent following absorption of CO2 is regenerated for re-use in the absorber. The present invention's regeneration method uses thermal swing (changes in temperature of the spent sorbent), and describes the integration of a waste heat recovery process into the thermal swing method.

  • Patent number: 11509285
Abstract: A sensor system that combines the sensing application of surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensor and sensor signal transfer though the enclosure wall via acoustic means. The sensor system includes SAW sensor placed inside the enclosure and at least one pair of bulk acoustic wave (BAW) transducers, one mounted inside and second outside the enclosure wall, allowing the interrogation of SAW sensor from outside the enclosure. The external BAW transducer converts interrogation electrical pulse into acoustic pulse which travels though the enclosure wall to the internal BAW transducer. The internal BAW transducer converts the interrogation electrical pulse to electrical pulse and transfers it to SAW sensor. The response of the SAW transducer containing series of electric pulses is converted to the series of acoustic pulses by internal BAW transducer which propagates though enclosure wall.

  • Publication number: 20220241819
Abstract: The embodiments disclose an ultrasonic transducer that can require a piezoelectric element attached to the transducer to be constantly under high pressure, and this required pressure can be provided and maintained by the transducer's design at all temperatures during its operation. The exemplary ultrasonic transducer can eliminate a failure of the bond between the piezoelectric element and a delay block by using the mechanical structure to hold all components in place while permitting the piezoelectric transducer to generate pulses of the desired frequency, frequency bandwidth, and pulse width without undesired echoes and/or attenuations.
