Abstract: Systems comprising a Wide/Ultra-Wide camera, a folded Tele camera comprising an optical path folding element and a Tele lens module, a lens actuator for moving the Tele lens module for focusing to object-lens distances between 3.0 cm and 35 cm with an object-to-image magnification between 1:5 and 25:1, and an application processor (AP), wherein the AP is configured to analyze image data from the UW camera to define a Tele capture strategy for a sequence of Macro images with a focus plane slightly shifted from one captured Macro image to another and to generate a new Macro image from this sequence, and wherein the focus plane and a depth of field of the new Macro image can be controlled continuously.

Abstract: Supplemental reference surface devices are provided for use in three-dimensional modeling of intra-oral scenes using identifiable positional characteristics from structured illumination or other techniques. Reference surface devices having at least one substantially plane smooth non-polished face are disclosed for locating the positions of intra-oral features, and for stitching together separate 3D tiles according to the identifiable positional characteristics. Reference can be attached to an intra-oral feature in or adjacent to the imaged intra-oral scene. Disclosed are reference surface devices having orientation and position indicia, as well as reference surface devices having a multiplicity of faces distributed in spatial position and angular orientation to facilitate correlation of 2D images obtained by imaging systems in different positions.

Abstract: Techniques for comparing character strings include identifying a first character string having a first string length, and a second character string having a second string length greater than the first string length; parsing the first character string into one or more first sub-groups of characters; parsing the second character string into one or more second sub-groups of characters; comparing each of the one or more first sub-groups of characters against the one or more second sub-groups of characters; determining a ratio of a number of characters in the one or more first sub-groups of characters that match the one or more second sub-groups of characters and the second string length; and based on the ratio being greater or equal to a threshold, preparing at least one of the first or second character strings for display, the threshold including a variable value based on the first string length.

A computer system may analyze each of the data objects, identify at least one possible combination operation between the data objects, and present the identified combination operation to a user interface. The identified combination operation may include a union or a join operation. The computer system may further determine a combination grade associated with the identified combination operation and present the combination grade to the user interface. Subsequently, the computer system may receive a selection of a particular presented combination operation via the user interface and execute the particular combination operation between the data objects.
