Patent number: 12343730Abstract: A meat grinder having a screw conveyor, a blade journal mounted on the screw conveyor in a rotationally fixed manner, and a cutting set. The cutting set includes a perforated disc which is supported in a stationary manner on the meat grinder housing and a blade which is mounted in a rotationally fixed manner on a supporting portion of a blade journal. The blade journal is inserted in a bearing bore of the screw conveyor. An insertion end of the blade journal protrudes from the supporting portion in a radial direction, and a stop surface is located between the insertion end and a circumferential side of the supporting portion. A fastening ring is pushed over the supporting portion of the blade journal to the stop surface and can be connected to the screw conveyor, thereby achieving a detachable connection of the blade journal with the screw conveyor.Type: GrantFiled: September 1, 2021Date of Patent: July 1, 2025Assignees: Lumbeck & Wolter GmbH & Co. KG, Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann KGInventors: Udo Back, Fabian Döring, Johannes Wamsler

Patent number: 12005457Abstract: The invention relates to a blade, more particularly for a meat grinder. The blade (10) has a collar-type sealing ring (18) between the hub (11) and the inner ends of the blade wings (14). The sealing ring (18) has the same height as the hub (11) as the adjacent sealing ring (18) has or the hub (11) has a smaller height. The hub (11) thus does not impede the rubbing of the cutting edges (16, 17) of the blade (10) or the rubbing of the sealing ring (18).Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 2021Date of Patent: June 11, 2024Assignee: Lumbeck & Wolter GmbH & Co. KGInventors: Udo Back, Fabian Döring

Publication number: 20240149273Abstract: The invention relates to a reliable cutting set system for a meat mincing machine. The mutually matched coding (14, 24) between knife pins (10) and the cutting set element (20) prevents an incorrect installation of the cutting set element (20) after a cleaning process or during the initial assembly, thereby increasing the operational safety. The invention allows a detection of the correct cutting set element (20) of a cutting set system and thus an unambiguous allocation of the cutting set element to a knife pin (10) of a cutting set system.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 15, 2024Publication date: May 9, 2024Applicant: Lumbeck & Wolter GmbH & Co. KGInventors: Udo Back, Fabian Döring

Patent number: 11969736Abstract: The invention relates to a cross-shaped support (10) for a meat-mincing machine. The cross-shaped support (10) has a hub (11) with a central bore (15), an outer ring (13), and multiple webs (12) which extend between the hub (11) and the outer ring (13). A groove (14) is provided on the exterior of the outer ring (13) in order to support the cross-shaped support (10) in the meat-mincing machine in a rotationally fixed manner. The cross-shaped support (10) additionally functions as a tool, for example the cross-shaped support has projections (16) which allow a simplification of the assembly or disassembly of the knife pin from the meat-mincing machine (FIG. 1).Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 2021Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: Lumbeck & Wolter GmbH & Co.
