Abstract: A rest pad (1,1.sup.1) for an infant is described, which is provided with a preferably padded bottom (2,2.sup.1) delimited on at least one side thereof by an essentially straight, elevated rim section (3,3.sup.1), said elevated rim section (3,3.sup.1) being formed by a filling material, which is received in a hollow reception space such that it can be removed therefrom for the purpose of lowering said rim section (3,3.sup.1). In order to be able to use such a rest pad universally and with variable sizes, it is suggested that the hollow reception space should be defined by a loop (3a to 3d, 3.sup.1 a to 3.sup. d) connected via a predetermined bending boundary (4a to 4d, 4.sup.1 a to 4.sup.1 d) to the bottom (2,2.sup.1) in such a way that, for increasing or reducing the size of the rest pad, said loop, together with the filling material, can be folded inwards towards said bottom (2,2.sup.1) and outwards away from said bottom.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an infant rocking device comprising a rocking frame (3) and a stretching frame (11) for stretching a sheet adapted to accommodate an infant, the stretching frame (11) being pivotally mounted on the rocking frame (3) by means of at least two detachable couplers (21) of which at least one is respectively arranged at each longitudinal side of the rocking device in the respective area of a free end of the rocking frame (3), and the couplers (21) being formed of positive or interlocking elements adapted to be engaged and disengaged. The rocking device is characterized in that each of the couplers (21) also comprises a clamping sleeve (25) which is adapted to be clamped onto the associated free end (9) of the rocking frame (3) and is thus attachable in a position securing way.

Abstract: This invention relates to a folding child's bed comprising a respective upper and lower frame, each being about horizontal and foldable. The frames are connected via diagonal struts which are variable with respect to their length, said diagonal struts being substantially parallel to each other and shortened when the child's bed is folded up. When the child's bed is used, they are obliquely disposed from the center portion of the upper frame to the outer portion of the lower frame and completely extended. To make handling of such a child's bed easier and, in particular, to make telescoping of the diagonal struts possible without any jamming, the diagonal struts comprise upper and lower struts disposed respectively in spaced and parallel relationship with each other and comprising at the joints thereof sliding guides which are provided on the struts and in which the struts are displaceably supported with respect to each other and are securable against displacement in the extended state.

Abstract: A foldable pram chassis in which two lateral X-shaped frames are connected articularly with two horizontal carriage body and seat fixing struts, a U-shaped plate articulated to the lateral X-shaped frames and a rectangular slide frame, cross-struts of which are foldable so that the chassis may be collpased, the rectangular slide frame pivots in the U-shaped plate and lying over the carriage body and seat fixing struts.
