Publication number: 20180194034Abstract: A device for wetting particles, in particular wood particles, with an application agent, at least one conduit transporting a fluid as a fluid stream and an end section which forms an outlet. The fluid can be introduced in the direction of the main flow into a container containing the particles, via the outlet. The particles are in the container in a loosened state and/or can be loosened. The application agent, for spraying by a nozzle device with a speed component directed against the main flow direction, can be introduced into the fluid stream and can be guided to the particles by the fluid stream.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 10, 2016Publication date: July 12, 2018Applicant: BRAV-O-TECH GMBHInventors: Udo GEHRER, Roland HICKER, Johannes HICKER

Patent number: 9186811Abstract: The invention relates to a moistening system (1) for presses (100) for compressing material cakes (200) mixed with binding agents, preferably continuously operating presses (100), in particular for producing composite panels, preferably engineered wood boards, comprising a first moistening agent application device. The first moistening agent application device (3) comprises a first application roll (7), which can be set from above against the material cake (200) conveyed by a conveyor unit (300) of the press, at least one first dosing roll (9), which can be set against the first application roll (7), and a first moistening agent bath (11). The at least one first dosing roll (9) is immersed in the first moistening agent bath (11) for taking up moistening agent and comprises at least one wiper roll (13), which can be set against each first dosing roll (9) and by means of which the amount of moistening agent taken up by each first dosing roll (9) can be adjusted.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 2011Date of Patent: November 17, 2015Assignee: BRAV-O-TECH GMBHInventors: Udo Gehrer, Roland Hicker, Johannes Hicker

Patent number: 5703633Abstract: A simple and economical construction and a reliable function is obtained for an ink container or ink pot with an ink reservoir by a closure coupling member that closes the ink withdrawal opening of the pot. The closure and coupling member has a capillary action for transporting ink. The pot includes an ink chamber with a capillary body so positioned inside the ink chamber that the open front face or first end of the capillary body is in direct contact with the ink while a back side of the capillary body communicates through a vent with the atmosphere. The chamber encloses the capillary body so that air can enter into the ink reservoir only through the capillary body to properly control the ink transport. For this purpose the capillary body functions as a pressure equalizer. The coupling member has a larger capillary action than the capillary body to make sure that ink is properly fed through the capillary coupling member to an ink consuming device.Type: GrantFiled: August 19, 1994Date of Patent: December 30, 1997Assignee: Dia Nielsen GmbH Zubehoer fuer MesstechnikInventors: Udo Gehrer, Rolf Gibbels, Heinz-Josef Frenken
