  • Patent number: 11648051
Abstract: A surgical instrument includes a jaw tool with two branches that can be closed for grasping tissue. In order to transmit the closing force to at least one branch, the branch is coupled with a preferably manually actuatable pull/push element, and, for coupling, an actuating pin that supports a sleeve interacts via the sleeve with a coupling track, in which case the sleeve rolls off the coupling track. In this manner, any deformation, abrasion or burr formation on the coupling track is prevented to such an extent that, even after numerous closing movements of the branches, the branches can still be actuated unimpaired by any wear of the coupling track and the actuating pin, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20230041478
Abstract: A conveying device for conveying a medical fluid that is guided into a hose includes a rotor and a stator. The stator includes a stator base, an area for receiving the hose in the conveying device, and a hose bed providing a counter bearing for occlusion devices. The rotor includes a rotor axis and at least two occlusion devices that are attached radially to the rotor axis and that compress the hose intermittently against the hose bed during use of the conveying device. The rotor encompasses an axial guiding element that is arranged to rotate about its own longitudinal axis for aligning the hose in the stator. The longitudinal axis of the axial guiding element extends parallel to the longitudinal axis of the rotor axis. The axial guiding element includes a middle section and a first lateral section protruding radially over the middle section.

  • Patent number: 11234724
Abstract: An instrument including an actuation gear mechanism that provides two functions of a tool. The actuation gear mechanism comprises a cam mechanism and a gear segment mechanism. The circumference of the cam disk of the cam mechanism—in a first section (?1)—is a spiral curve for generating a stroke for closing the forceps tool, while the circumference of the cam disk—in a second, adjoining, angular range (?2)—is circular. When the cam disk with the circular curved line biases the spring means, no further movement takes place on the output of the cam mechanism. Preferably, two congruent cam disks are provided, whereby these—together with the driving gear and the segment gear, as well as the shaft—form a one-piece plastic injection-molded part. The installation space between the cam disks can be utilized for a slide with a gear rack for shifting the knife.

  • Publication number: 20190365459
Abstract: The surgical instrument (10) according to the invention comprises a jaw tool (16) with two branches (20a, 20b) that can be closed for grasping tissue. In order to transmit the closing force to at least one branch (20a, 20b), the branch (20a, 20b) is coupled with a preferably manually actuatable pull/push element (50), and, for coupling, an actuating pin (46) that supports a sleeve (70) interacts via the sleeve with a coupling track (65a, 65b; 66a, 66b), in which case the sleeve rolls off the coupling track (65a, 65b; 66a, 66b). In this manner, any deformation, abrasion or burr formation on the coupling track (65a, 65b; 66a, 66b) is prevented to such an extent that, even after numerous closing movements of the branches (20a, 20b), said branches can still be actuated unimpaired by any wear of the coupling track (65a, 65b; 66a, 66b) and the actuating pin (46), respectively.
