  • Patent number: 10247153
Abstract: A heating device for a fluid line has a heat-conductive pipe segment to be flowed through by a fluid. An electrical heating element that heats the pipe segment is provided. An electrical plug connection device is provided, wherein contact elements connect the heating element electrically to the plug connection device. A fastening element attaches the heating element and the contact elements to the pipe segment. A plastic housing encapsulates the fastening element, the heating element, and the pipe segment.

    Assignee: MANN+HUMMEL GmbH
Inventors: Udo Mueller, Peter Hoehn, Ralf Werner, Thomas Lenk
  • Patent number: 10153675
Abstract: A stator for an electric machine has a stator block and at least one first and one second phase winding. The first and second phase windings are supplied with current having different phases. At least one stator slot is formed in the stator block. Several layers of the first phase winding and several layers of the second phase winding are arranged in the stator slot. One layer of the first phase winding defines a layer of the second phase winding in the stator slot.

  • Patent number: 9407086
Abstract: A safety switching device for switching on or off a hazardous installation in a failsafe manner has a failsafe control/evaluating unit and a power supply for providing at least one operating voltage for the control/evaluating unit. The power supply has a voltage converter for converting an input voltage into an output voltage of a defined output voltage value. The output voltage corresponds to the operating voltage. The power supply has a fault detector for detecting a fault condition of the voltage converter. The fault detector has a comparator for comparing a currently existent output voltage with a defined reference voltage. The fault detector provides a fault condition signal upon detection of a predetermined deviation from the reference voltage. The power supply also has a switch which disconnects the input voltage of the voltage converter when the fault condition signal is present.

  • Patent number: 4421551
Abstract: Process for preparing rotund particles of salt-coated magnesium or magnesium alloy, by adding molten magnesium or magnesium alloy to a substantially non-hygroscopic salt melt having a viscosity of from 1.5 to 5.0 cps containing at least 50% by weight of anhydrous alkali metal chloride, and having a density substantially the same as the density of the molten metal, stirring the molten metal and salt melt at a certain speed and temperature to obtain a dispersion of the molten metal in the salt melt containing up to 60% by weight of the molten metal, cooling the dispersion and disintegrating the resultant solid product.
