  • Patent number: 9768990
Abstract: A device for manipulating interface signals includes a slave interface, which is connectable to a master interface of a control device, a master interface, which is connectable to a slave interface of a measuring device, and a circuit configuration, which is supplied with at least one data-input signal per interface, and which outputs a corresponding data-output signal per data-input signal to the respective other interface. The circuit configuration includes at least one manipulation unit, to which a data-input signal and a substitute-data signal are supplied and which outputs a corresponding data-output signal, as well as a protocol unit, to which at least one protocol-relevant interface signal is supplied and which, based on manipulation rules and information received with the at least one protocol-relevant interface signal, chooses when the at least one manipulation unit outputs the corresponding data-input signal or the substitute-data signal as data-output signal.

  • Patent number: 7486182
Abstract: An electronic intermediate module for acquiring data from at least one peripheral unit, and for transmitting the acquired data to a position measuring device, the electronic intermediate module including a data acquisition interface for a data transmission connection which is designed for transmitting first data from the peripheral unit in a direction toward the electronic intermediate module. The electronic intermediate module further including a communications interface for a communications connection, wherein the communications connection is designed for transmitting second data from the intermediate module to the position measuring device.

  • Patent number: 6929396
Abstract: A system for monitoring the temperature prevailing in the stator unit of an electric drive includes a temperature sensor that is integrated into the windings of the stator unit and that transmits a temperature-dependent sensor signal. The sensor signal may be injected via an electrical transmitter unit into the signal processing unit of a position measuring device connected to the drive.

  • Patent number: 6833731
Abstract: A supply voltage is needed in conventional electronic circuits used for processing signals, such as counting pulses. The supply voltage supplies the logic circuit components. Especially apparatuses which have to be operated over a longer period of time or/and in remote sites of use and are dependent upon a supply voltage are impaired with the dependency-related disadvantages, such as the necessity of expensive EEPROMs or significantly increased maintenance expenditure.
