    Abstract: A gas container, particularly a liquid gas container, for instance a propane gas container for domestic and industrial use, is provided with flame-inhibiting and explosion-retardant properties by forming the walls of the container of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and by disposing within the container a heat-conductive filler inlay formed of a three-dimensional metallic grid structure consisting of aluminum or an aluminum alloy. The filler inlay may be formed as a coil or an assembly of coils of an expanded metal.
