  • Publication number: 20150308753
Abstract: A method for producing a multilayered pipe line, in particular for transporting refrigerant in an air-conditioning system. First, an endless inner layer made of stainless steel having a layer thickness of at most 1 mm, preferably at most 0.5 mm, is provided, which constitutes the inside layer of the pipe line. Then, the endless inner layer is covered, by means of an extrusion process, with a plastic layer that preferably has a layer thickness of at most 7 mm, in particular at most 5 mm.

  • Patent number: 7985457
Abstract: Silane cross-linked polyolefin tubes are used for drinking water and/or water for industrial use, are resistant to a chlorine content ranging from 0.1 to 5 ppm, have a minimum degree of cross-linking of 60%, are produced according to the single-stage process, and are comprised of the following polyolefin composition: (A) a polyolefin; (B) a mixture consisting of an organic silane of general formula RSiX3 (B1), of a radical-generating constituent (B2), and of a catalyst (B3); (C) a stabilizer mixture consisting of a high-molecular, phenolic constituent (C1) having a high melting point, of a sulfur-containing constituent (C2), of a phosphorous-containing processing stabilizer (C3), and of a metal deactivator (C4).

  • Publication number: 20100266840
Abstract: The invention relates to use of a molding molded from a composition encompassing (A) a thermoplastic, and a coating provided thereon, molded from a composition encompassing a component (B) which has been selected from a polysilazane of the formula (—SiR?R?—NR??-)n, where either R?, R? and R??=—H, or R? and R??=—H; and R??=-methyl, as articles with low hydrogen permeation, where the permeation coefficient of the article with respect to hydrogen gas at from 25 to 30° C. is preferably smaller than 10 cm3 mm/m2 d atm, measured in accordance with DIN 53380-3 and ASTM D 3985, and their microhardness is greater than 150 N/mm2 to DIN EN ISO 14577.

  • Publication number: 20060281871
Abstract: The invention relates to a polymer composition which is suitable for the production of bodywork trimming parts whose flexion is <15 mm in a heat sag test at 250° C. over a time period of 30 minutes. Said composition comprises a polyamide, a syndiotactic monovinyl aromatic homo-polymer or co-polymer, a polystyrene copolymer or a polystyrene graft copolymer and an impact resistance modifier.
