Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an energy storage system for managing power of a system and a DC power distribution network linked with the system. In one embodiment, the system comprises a first converter connected between the system and the DC power distribution network so as to control voltage of the DC power distribution network; a second converter connected to the DC power distribution network; a battery which is connected to the second converter and in which a charging/discharging operation is controlled by the second converter; a third converter connected to the DC power distribution network; an emergency generator which is connected to the third converter and in which a power is controlled by the third converter; a fourth converter connected to the DC power distribution network; and a first load which is connected to the fourth converter and in which a voltage is controlled by the fourth converter.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a circuit breaker and a method of controlling the same. More specifically, the present invention is to provide a circuit breaker capable of performing an interruption operation and an interruption monitoring function through an integrated control contact for transmitting a control signal, in order to solve the conventional problem, i.e., a structural problem due to separation of control contacts, and a malfunction of a monitoring function when an interlock is set, and a method of controlling the circuit breaker. With such a configuration, the circuit breaker can have a simplified structure, and can be designed and controlled more easily and simply.

Abstract: Disclosed are a relay and method for protecting a transformer, and a transformer protecting system having the same. In the present disclosure, whether a transformation ratio of a transformer has been correctly set or not may be determined based on an inner algorithm. If it is determined that the transformation ratio of the transformer has been incorrectly set, a user may be informed to reset the transformation ratio. This may prevent a malfunction of the relay when the system is operated, and may enhance a system stability.
