  • Publication number: 20250094319
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus, which includes one or more processors and memory. The apparatus obtains an application core developed in a first operating system. The application core includes control logic of a vehicle. The apparatus tests the application core by applying a first wrapper, which includes a functional cluster of an automotive open system architecture (AUTOSAR) platform and is executable in the first operating system, to the application core, and generates an adaptive application by applying a second wrapper, which includes the functional cluster and is executable in a second operating system different from the first operating system, to the application core, based on the testing of the application core. The adaptive application is classifiable as an executable file on the AUTOSAR platform.

  • Patent number: 9632855
Abstract: A method of controlling a watchdog and an apparatus for the same are provided. The method of controlling a watchdog within a controller includes determining, by a processor, whether to respond to a fault in the controller by comparing a watchdog count with a predetermined watchdog warning level when the fault is detected. Further, the method includes storing, by the processor, information regarding a program group related to the detected fault and a watchdog reset count that corresponds to the program group within a memory after increasing the watchdog reset count when the fault is to be responded to. In addition the processor is configured to reset the controller when the watchdog count exceeds a predetermined watchdog timeout level. Therefore, the present invention prevents occurrence of repeated resets that result from the same cause within the controller.

  • Patent number: 9128630
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring a memory stack size is provided, and more particularly, a method for monitoring a memory stack size, whereby the size of a memory stack applied to an operating system of a controller for a vehicle is monitored so that an overflow phenomenon of the memory stack can be prevented. That is, an accurate usage amount of a memory stack of the entire control system for a hybrid vehicle is efficiently and effectively monitored so that, when the control system reaches a risk level of stack overflow, fail-safe logic is executed and an overflow phenomenon of the memory stack as a result can be prevented.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for driving a spherical wheel that includes a rotating sphere having a plurality of magnetic modules and a fixed body. The fixed body has coil modules that generate a magnetic field by current and partially enclose the rotating sphere so that a portion of the rotating sphere is exposed. A support wheel disposed between the rotating sphere and the fixed body is configured to maintain a substantially constant distance between the rotating sphere and the fixed body and rotatably support the rotating sphere. A sensor provided in at least one of the rotating sphere and the fixed body is configured to measure a rotational speed and a position of the rotating sphere, and a control device is configured to receive driving signals, the rotational velocity and the position measured by the sensor and to transmit a control signal supplying a current to the coil module.
