  • Publication number: 20230304590
Abstract: A valve unit for a vehicle thermal management system. The valve unit includes a first valve body, a second valve body, and a housing structure. The first valve body and the second valve body are arranged within the housing structure and rotatably arranged in relation to the housing structure between different valve positions around a common rotational axis. The first valve body is connected to an actuator for rotational displacement of the first valve body around the rotational axis, and the second valve body is connected to the first valve body via a spring. The second valve body is configured for being rotatably displaced around the rotational axis by the spring upon rotational displacement of the first valve body. The housing structure includes a first mixing chamber arranged in connection to the first valve body and a second mixing chamber arranged in connection to the second valve body.

  • Patent number: 10145623
Abstract: A vehicle heat exchanger tube (2) comprises at least a first and a second separate fluid channel (14, 16). A tube stiffener (38) has a first stiffening portion (40) stiffening the first channel (14) of the tube (2), and a second stiffening portion (42) stiffening the second channel (16) of the tube (2). The first stiffening portion (40) comprises a first supporting surface (46) supporting the first larger surface (20) of the first channel (14), and a second supporting surface (48) supporting the second larger surface (22) of the first channel (14). The second stiffening portion (42) comprises a first supporting surface (56) supporting the first larger surface (26) of the second channel (16), and a second supporting surface (58) supporting the second larger surface (28) of the second channel (16).

  • Publication number: 20170131043
Abstract: The invention relates to a heat exchanger (1) comprising a coolant housing (10) and a header plate (20). The header plate (20) crimps around a border (11) of the coolant housing (10) by encompassing the border (11). The header plate (20) is provided with apertures (22), each aperture (22) receiving a tube (30) for guiding coolant from or to the closed cavity (50). The heat exchanger (1) further comprises a reinforcing plate (40) extending between two opposing crimped locations on the border (11) of the coolant housing (10), and extending on the outside of the header plate (20) in view of the closed cavity (50), wherein the reinforcing plate (40) is joined, at the opposing locations, to an outer surface portion of the header plate (20), and wherein the reinforcing plate (40) is provided with at least one aperture (42) embracing one or more of the tubes (30) received by the header plate (20).

  • Patent number: 4879736
Abstract: An x-ray examination apparatus has an x-ray image intensifier and an x-ray film changer mounted so that the x-ray film changer can be moved to an exposure position, in front of the x-ray image intensifier, for producing x-ray pictures of an examination subject. The x-ray image intensifier has a holder on which the x-ray film changer is movably mounted so that, when in the exposure position, the film changer has the same image axis as that of the x-ray image intensifier. The film changer is pivotable out of the exposure position by approximately 90.degree. to a standby position. To avoid having the x-ray film changer in the standby position prevent access to a patient on an examination table, and to permit the x-ray image intensifier to be adjusted to any arbitrary position without being impeded by the film changer in the standby position, the examination apparatus has a holder for the film changer in the form of a bearing which at least partially surrounds the x-ray image intensifier.

  • Patent number: 4315154
Abstract: An X-ray generator has at least a first and a second cathode filament for emitting electrons, one end of the first filament being connected to one end of the second filament, the connection point forming a terminal. Still two further terminals are located at the ends of the serial connection of the two filaments. Two of the three terminals are connected via a diode in each connection line to the first pole of a d-c source, while the third terminal is coupled to the second pole of the d-c source. Both diodes are oppositely poled. The polarity of the d-c voltage supplied by the d-c source can be changed, for example, by a remote reversing switch. The polarity of the d-c source determines which and how many filaments are energized to provide focal spots of different size. Since two supply lines are sufficient in a high-voltage cable for feeding the first and second filaments, a third line in the cable can be used for the supply of a third heating filament.
