  • Publication number: 20230104436
Abstract: A micropump for exchanging liquid between a supply region and a working region is provided. An enclosed gas region is located above the working region. The micropump includes a capillary pipette having a closed pipette tip on a first end, an open pipette inlet disposed opposite the first end, and a pipette section enclosing the working region and disposed in a direction of the open pipette inlet from the closed pipette tip. The micropump further includes a liquid-permeable filter covering the open pipette inlet and connected to the supply region. The micropump additionally includes a capillary structure extending through the gas region between the closed pipette tip and the liquid-permeable filter.

  • Publication number: 20170234856
Abstract: Dynamic expression behavior of recombinant living cells is used and detects translocation in an integral manner, preferably using a cell-inherent defense system, preferably gene sequences, ai-mi, in recombinant cells in a test kit for performing the detection method code for transporter proteins, Ai, with fluorescent marker proteins, Mi, as fusion constructs, Ai-Mi. The cell-inherent defense system is activated under the influence of foreign substance. Transporter proteins, Ai, that transport the foreign substance out of the living cells are expressed in an increased manner. Together with the transporter proteins, Ai, the marker proteins, Mi, are also expressed in an increased manner, which is optically detected and enables corresponding conclusions about the foreign substance.

  • Publication number: 20150132788
Abstract: The invention relates to a method, a use and a kit for establishing the viability (ability to live) of biological samples using ageladine A. The invention is advantageously suitable for establishing the viability of biological samples which can otherwise be dyed in an intra-cellular manner by fluorescence dyes other than ageladine A not at all or only with difficulty. The invention is found to be very particularly advantageous for establishing the viability of eggs (ovaries) of the pig whipworm which are intended to be used for the treatment or prophylaxis of specific (gastroenterological) autoimmune diseases.

  • Patent number: 8198098
Abstract: An optical measurement method for determining a pH of a medium includes adding a fluorescent pH indicator to the medium. The pH indicator is based on naturally-obtained or synthesized ageladine A. The pH indicator is irradiated with light of at least one wavelength so as to provide fluorescence excitation of the pH indicator. An emitted fluorescence intensity of the pH indicator is detected as a measure for the pH of the medium.
