Publication number: 20220338420Abstract: Disclosed herein are control systems and methods for managing and controlling the localized environment for growing plants in an indoor organic environment. The methods and systems provide for optimizing the climate at the localized level beneath the plant canopy to ensure the climate promotes plant growth. The control system controls the environment by monitoring, adjusting, and managing various systems within the indoor growing environment such as an air circulation system, a temperature control system, an irrigation system, a nutrition delivery system, a lighting system, and a sensor system, either individually or in various combinations.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 21, 2022Publication date: October 27, 2022Inventor: Ulf Jönsson

Publication number: 20220240461Abstract: A method for growing herbs includes planting a herb and allowing the herb to germinate, becoming a herb seedling and either transplanting to or maintaining the herb seedling in a restrictive container, where the herb seedling is held for a predetermined period of time before transplanting the herb seedling to a second stage, where the seedling is held in order to grow and develop a larger root system. Maintaining the herb seedling in a restrictive container has the effect that the herb's root system will be prevented from growing, in comparison to an herb planted in a nursery. The herb will essentially stop growing while the root system is restricted. Meanwhile the herb will continue maturing, developing oils which are more elastic. Herbs with more elastic oils will be significantly more resistant to cold temperatures at a harvesting size, compared to herbs that have not been transplanted to restrictive containers.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 9, 2021Publication date: August 4, 2022Applicant: Shenandoah Growers Inc.Inventor: Ulf JÖNSSON

Patent number: 8555996Abstract: Excavator that comprises a drive unit, an excavator tool and a mounting device for the excavator tool and wherein the mounting device comprises at least two arms that are arranged to be connected to the excavator tool. The excavator comprises resilient portions located in at least two different locations in which the resilient portions are arranged to allow the excavator tool to move in at least one plane relative to the drive unit when the excavator tool is mounted on the mounting device and thereby allow the excavator tool to oscillate in the at least one plane.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 2009Date of Patent: October 15, 2013Assignee: Atlas Copco Rock Drills ABInventors: Carl-Gustav Martinsson, Sven-Ake Gustafsson, Ulf Jönsson, Mats Kristerson, Jesper Nilsson

Patent number: 7543727Abstract: Circuit-breaker arrangement (32) in an indicating arrangement (33) forming part of an electrically powered stapler (1). The stapler comprises a stapling head (2) and an anvil (3). The stapling head comprises an interchangeably fitted staple cassette (5) containing staple blanks (36), and the indicating arrangement. The circuit-breaker arrangement is so positioned that it is moved by the staple cassette from a first to a second position when the staple cassette is fitted to the stapling head and when the power supply via the indicating arrangement changes. The circuit-breaker arrangement (32) comprises an input line (22) and output line (23), of which at least the input line is dimensionally stable and resiliency flexible.Type: GrantFiled: August 19, 2005Date of Patent: June 9, 2009Assignee: Isaberg Rapid ABInventors: Olle Strååt, Peter Johansson, Mattias Palmquist, Ulf Jönsson

Patent number: 7450577Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for managing communications between two or more ad-hoc networks in a communication system. The systems and methods may have flexible communication time sharing of one or more nodes taking part in two or more ad-hoc networks. For example, the communication scheduling function for a node shared by two or more ad-hoc networks is provided with a generic functional architecture such that it may be located in a number of different locations. In one embodiment, a Bluetooth communication system includes an inter-piconet scheduling function having a JUMP mode introduced to distinctly identify a node to its neighbors as being shared with multiple ad-hoc networks. The jump mode may have one or more methods for managing the inter-network communications that may include: (1) predetermined fixed starting point and length communication windows, (2) time points with flexible starting points and communication window length, and/or (3) random starting time and length communication windows.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 2006Date of Patent: November 11, 2008Assignee: Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson (publ)Inventors: Per Johansson, Ulf Jönsson, Fredrik Alriksson, Niklas Johansson

Patent number: 7113536Abstract: Apparatus and methods for providing Rendezvous point Interpiconet Scheduling (RIPS) in an ad hoc polling based communication infrastructure such as a Bluetooth system in which a PMP node (Participant in Multiple Piconet nodes) belongs to more than one piconet. The rendezvous (RV) points of a PMP node is defined based on information specific to the node, rather than being associated with the links between slave and master nodes. By defining RV points per PMP node rather than per link, the master node of a piconet in the RIPS system is aware of the RV points that its slave PMP nodes have in other piconets. This advantageously allows a master node in the RIPS system to know when its slave nodes will be present in the piconet and when they will not be present.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 2001Date of Patent: September 26, 2006Assignee: Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson (publ)Inventors: Fredrik Alriksson, Niklas Johansson, Ulf Jönsson

Patent number: 6977938Abstract: In a wireless or mobile ad hoc network the routing interworks with the ordinary Internet routing using the Mobile IP. Mobile IP foreign agents are used as gateways between the ad hoc network and the Internet. The nodes in the ad hoc network use their home addresses for all communication and register with a foreign agent in the network. To send packets to hosts on the Internet either tunnelling or proxying is used. To receive packets from the Internet the packets are routed to the foreign agent using the Mobile IP. The foreign agent then routes the packets to the destination in the ad hoc network. Since the ordinary Mobile IP requires link-layer connectivity between the foreign agent and a visiting node which is not guaranteed on the ad hoc network, modifications are accordingly made to the procedures of the Mobile IP.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2000Date of Patent: December 20, 2005Assignee: Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (publ)Inventors: Fredrik Alriksson, Ulf Jönsson, Kevin Purser
