  • Publication number: 20050277090
Abstract: A tooth implant is used to replace a front tooth which has been lost or extracted. The implant comprises an anchoring part which is provided with an outer thread and which is applied in a recess formed in the jaw bone at the site of the lost or extracted tooth, a spacer sleeve part intended to extend through the gum of the jaw bone, and a prepared or preparable part which adjoins the spacer sleeve part and is intended to support a dental crown, for example. The anchoring part, the spacer sleeve part and the prepared or preparable part are arranged in one piece, the configuration and direction of the prepared or preparable part being substantially adapted or adaptable to the anatomy of the lost or extracted tooth, for example to the inner arc-shaped surface, and to the direction of said tooth. The one-piece implant affords a rapid and less traumatic replacement function compared to previously used three-part bridges.

  • Publication number: 20050055925
Abstract: The invention relates to a floor comprising a flooring (7, 8, 9), a system of load-bearing beams (5, 6) and pedestal supports (4, 4?), which are adapted to support the beams and the subfloor at a distance above a subfloor (2, 3). The pedestal supports are telescopically, continuously adjustable in the longitudinal direction before as well as after installation of the floor and are non-rotatably connectible to the beams as well as to the subfloor and capable of absorbing compressive as well as tractive forces in such a manner that, in the longitudinal adjustment, it is made possible to push the flooring away from the subfloor as well as pull it towards the same. The invention also relates to a pedestal support (4, 4?) for use in such a floor. Preferably, the floor is a bowling floor.

  • Publication number: 20040222332
Abstract: Support device configured to fasten pipes, hoses and cabling to a vehicle. The support device has an essentially linear central axis, and a circumferential surface of the support device is at least partially circular and oriented around the central axis of the support device.

  • Patent number: 6053920
Abstract: A holder of a biocompatible material for implantation in bone tissue for controlled receipt and positional fixation of equipment for electrical transfer of information. A cylindrical mounting part is for lying outside of the bone tissue and includes a mounting end and a smooth outer surface. A conical insertion part is for insertion into the bone tissue. The insertion part is narrower than the mounting part and includes an insertion end opposite the mounting end and tapers toward the insertion end at an angle of 0.degree. to 10.degree.. A conical intermediate part is between the mounting part and the insertion part. A plurality of retention elements are at least on the insertion part for providing good initial anchoring and stability to the holder and for permitting the holder to be mounted in a preprepared hole in the bone tissue without screwing the holder. A channel extends through the holder for receiving the equipment and connections to the equipment and including an exit opening in the insertion part.

  • Patent number: 5772437
Abstract: The invention relates to a screw-type securing element, made of titanium, for permanent anchoring in bone tissue, in particular for permanent anchoring of artificial teeth and dental bridges in the jaw bone, the securing element having an outer threaded portion which at the far top merges into a smooth, conical and/or cylindrical flange (5, 9). The thread end is such that the thread (1) in the periosteal part of the securing element merges into the flange (5, 9) via a cylindrical groove (7) which has the geometry of the threading die. By means of maintaining, in this way, a correct thread pitch and thread depth right up to the flange, a geometrically satisfactory match is obtained, in which the previously threaded hole matches the geometry of the thread right up to the flange, which means that the cortical bone can be better utilized.

  • Patent number: 5752828
Abstract: An apparatus for fixing a prosthetic construction unit to an implant comprises one or more implant control parts; one or more construction unit control parts cooperating with the one or more implant control parts to impart to the unit a distinct position on the implant; recesses in the one or more implant and construction unit control parts; and a securing element, for installing in the recesses of the one or more implant and construction unit control parts to extend in an essentially transverse direction to the implant. The securing element, when in the installed position, creates a pressing force against the one or more construction unit control parts opposite a pressing force created against the one or more implant control parts in an axial direction of the unit and the implant for pressing the unit against the implant.

  • Patent number: 5678495
Abstract: A device for the combustion of solid fuels so as to provide complete combustion from the start and thereby reduce environmental influence and the generation of carcinogens, includes two chambers interconnected by a ceramic filter, which chambers have one or more heat sources, one chamber being adapted for drying and degasification of the fuel and the other chamber being adapted for combustion of the gas generated on degasification. The heat sources are mainly connected with the solid-fuel device to act at an initial stage until combustion takes place in a normal way so that complete combustion may be achieved from the start.
