Abstract: Combinational networks may provide simultaneous connectivity over networks of different type between User Equipment of an A-party and B-party. A communication session, comprising a circuit switched call and one or more packet switched sessions, may be deployed simultaneously over different network types, in relation to the same User Equipment. The circuit switched call and the packet switched session may be correlated. As to retrieve the packet switched address of a circuit switched call partner, a retrieval for a packet switched network address is initialized by means of a circuit switched protocol over a circuit switched network. The address retrieval request is directed to the call partner or a network node that accomplishes the network address request.

Abstract: A method and arrangement for providing a ring-back presentation to a calling terminal after receiving a call setup request from the calling terminal for a first communication session with a called terminal. A second packet-based communication session is established with the calling terminal, independent of the first session, and pre-defined media content is provided as said ring-back presentation to the calling terminal over the second session. Thereby, ring-back presentations to waiting callers can be selected from a great range of media types, including visual media. A calling user can also control the playout or display of the ring-back presentation irrespective of when the call is answered.

The method may include receiving a message including a communication device identifier; storing the communication device identifier with an identifier associated with a user of the communication device so that the communication device identifier is associated with the user identifier; transmitting a consent request message to the user; receiving a response to the consent request message, which response indicates that the user has provided the requested consent; and in response to receiving the response to the consent request message, transmitting a consent confirmation message to the service provider.

Abstract: A media server, a method, a computer program and a computer program product for the media server, are provided for combining a speech related to a voice over IP (VoIP) voice communication session between a user equipment A and a user equipment B, with a web based applications. The method further comprising the media server performing the following steps: capturing the speech related to the VoIP voice communication session; converting the speech to a text; creating a contextual data by adding a service from the web based applications using the text. The media server comprises a capturing unit for capturing the speech of the VoIP voice communication session; a converting unit for converting the speech to text; a creating unit for creating a contextual data by adding services from web based applications using said text. Further a computer program and a computer program product are provided for the media server.

Abstract: The present invention relates to arrangements adapted for implementation in a Session Initiated Protocol, SIP, provider domain in IP multimedia Subsystem, IMS, for managing SIP user identities wherein each SIP user is identified by a SIP URI. In one aspect of the present invention the arrangement comprises a database adapted to store and publish at least one identifier selected by the user, a content manager, adapted to associate the at least one selected identifier with the SIP URI of the user, and a search engine, adapted to search for a SIP URI in the database via the associated published selected identifier and to act as an interface between different SIP provider domains.

Abstract: Methods, server, and terminal are provided for allowing an initiating party to “finger-point” another party targeted for communication using an electronic terminal and as a consequence of such “finger-pointing”, to retrieve at least an indication of the identity of a mobile terminal of the targeted party to establish a communication therewith. In a first embodiment, the “finger-pointing” comprises pointing a camera-enabled terminal and acquiring a picture of the targeted party, which is translated by the server using picture analysis techniques into a terminal address. In another embodiment, the “finger-pointing” comprises targeting the party with a directive antenna emission to obtain a radio identifier of the targeted party, which is translated by the server into an identity of the targeted party to establish a communication therewith.

Destinations include, other computers on the network, database servers, e-mail servers, fax servers, file servers, etc. Additionally, the image server may be set up via the network whereby logical and physical destinations, protocols for each destination, required header information for each destination, and any archival or alternate destinations may be specified. Each server may handle more than one image acquisition device. Each device may be programmed to acquire and update all or part of its configuration parameters via a configuration file/page available over the network at location(s) pointed to by the administrator during the setup phase of the device. All servers may be configured to perform in a uniform manner and to update their parameters and protocols via the configuration file/page.

Abstract: A roaming mechanism enabling a mobile station to roam between a first data packet network utilizing a Mobile IP Method (MIM) and a second data packet network utilizing a Personal Digital Cellular Mobility Method (PMM) is disclosed. A foreign agent (FA) is introduced into the PMM network for enabling a mobile station associated with the MIM network and currently roaming within the PMM network to communicate packet data with an associated home agent (HA). A home agent (HA) is further introduced into the PMM network for enabling a mobile station associated with the PMM network and currently roaming within the MIM network to communicate packet data with an associated FA or Mobile IP Client Emulator (MICE) currently serving the roaming mobile station.
