  • Patent number: 8080258
Abstract: A proteineous component isolated from plant chromatin, after dissociation of the same, as an antimicrobial agent, the proteineous component having an apparent molecular weight between 10 and 20 kD. The proteineous plant component is produced by means of a method comprising the steps of homogenizing a plant material in order to expose its plant chromatin, dissociating the plant chromatin with a dissociating agent under hydrophobic conditions, and separating the dissociated plant chromatin into individual fractions, one comprising the proteineous plant component, by means of a hydrophobic interaction separation procedure.

  • Patent number: 6148840
Abstract: The valve operating device comprises in a housing a valve operating member, which is movable in a compartment in the housing and at its underside has a generally cone-shaped recess, and an operating rod, which is in engagement with the recess with one end and with the other end is in contact with a valve actuating pin of a vehicle air valve, on which the device is mounted. It has a locking sleeve axially movable in the housing and being arranged coaxially with the operating rod and has an internal thread for attachment to the air valve and with an abutment for engagement with a pivotable locking pin of a lock in the housing.

  • Patent number: 5921265
Abstract: A device for operating a valve (1), preferably for a tire valve of a car, where a valve actuating pin (3) is biased to a valve-closing extended position and is to be depressed for opening the valve, has a disc-shaped operating member (6) arranged in a housing (4), which is mounted on the valve. The operating member is provided with a central recess (6') with gradually sloping sides in its surface facing the pin. An operating rod (7) is axially movably arranged in the housing substantially in line with the pin, the rod engaging the recess with one of its ends and the pin with the other.

  • Patent number: 5484461
Abstract: A method for producing Li(Al) alloy anode comprises the steps of alloying Li and Al, grinding the formed alloy, pressing the powder around a current conductive thread and enclosing the anode element in a microporous separator material.

  • Patent number: 5094738
Abstract: A method of producing an anode unit, whose active material consists of an alloy of an alkaline metal and a host metal therefore. An elongated element of the host metal is enclosed in a separator in form of a hollow fiber and is put in electrochemical contact with an organic solution of the alkaline metal, which migrates through the hollow fibre wall for alloying the host metal element. In a preferred embodiment strips are punched out at distances from each other in a sheet of the host metal and films of hollow fiber materials, laid on the two surfaces of the sheet, are welded together in the openings left after the punching for forming hollow fibers.
