  • Patent number: 7341130
Abstract: A protective shield for a disc brake which includes a brake disc attached to a wheelshaft for a vehicle, and a brake yoke with a pair of brake supports. The protective shield is fitted close to one side of, and partly covers laterally, the brake disc. The protective shield has a protective plate and a fastening bracket portion which is designed to support and fasten the plate, and the fastening bracket portion is provided with end portions for fastening cooperation with fastening eyes in the brake supports.

  • Publication number: 20070162261
Abstract: Present invention relates to an arrangement, suitable for increasing data association accuracy, comprising means for generating a first data entity comprising a first information set and a second information set about at least one object; and means for generating a second data entity comprising a first information set and second information set about at least one object. The invention is characterized by means for generating at least one distance matrix depending upon the first information sets or the second information sets; means for gating said at least one generated distance matrix, and means for performing an association process depending upon the gated distance matrix.

  • Publication number: 20060042890
Abstract: A protective cover unit including a main cover for partly covering an aperture for access to brake linings which is accommodated in a disc brake yoke for a disc brake. The main cover includes fastenings to a U-bolt-shaped lining holder which is connected to the brake yoke and runs transversely across the aperture. The main cover abuts against a portion of the brake yoke outer surface which at least partly surrounds the aperture.

  • Publication number: 20050275355
Abstract: A microcontroller or state machine controls a light ballast utilizing a timer structure. The microcontroller can program the timer structure to generate pulses where the “average” frequency of a series of pulses can be varied with higher resolution than the frequency of a single pulse. This variation can occur without further microcontroller/state machine intervention. The pulses are used to control the on and/or off time of the light. The timer can be configured to modulate the outputs fast enough to ensure that the light does not appear to flicker to the human eye by limiting the number of pulses in a frame and by increasing the number of times the frequency shift occurs compared to the obvious implementation. The present invention relies on the fact that the human eye is not capable of detecting small frequency changes in high frequency signals and therefore uses pulses of two or more frequencies where the frequencies are close together.
