  • Publication number: 20050205562
Abstract: Device for induction heating of ring-shaped objects, including a magnetizable core with one or several coils, which core has a moveable part that is displaceable, for insertion through the ring-shaped object that is to be heated. The object that is to be heated rests on rails or bars on which the object can slide electrically and thermally insulated. The device is inclined laterally so that the objects that are to be heated can slide in to and/or out from the heating position.

  • Patent number: 6498327
Abstract: A method for transverse flux induction heating using a heating machine including an iron core, that essentially has a U-shape with an opening facing downwards. The legs lie in contact with downwards facing displaceable core jaws. These are so arranged that they are displaceable towards and from each other by means of pneumatic pistons. The object that is to be heated is placed between the core jaws. The core jaws are at the displacement guided by means of U-shaped rails and rolls or linear bearings. The displacement serves among other things to free the object that is to be heated or has been heated for transport into and out from the machine. When the right position has been reached the displacement is stopped and the two core jaws are locked by a pressurized bellow pressing the core jaws upwards against the legs of the U-shaped core.

  • Patent number: 5373144
Abstract: A heating device for heating objects, such as moulding tools for preheating them, removing rubber, to produce shrink fit operations and other treatments of objects (11, 12, 13) which consist, at least partly, of metal, the device comprising a core (2) of electric conductive material and at least a coil (3, 4) which is arranged around the core (2) and connected to a current source (20) to generate a magnetic field, the flux of which is intended to follow the said core. The core (2) has two poles (5, 6), between which a space (7) can exist to supply objects (11, 12, 13) to the device (1) for heating treatment. One of the poles or both said poles (5, 6) are arranged to be able to be displaced in such a way that the core (2) can be closed or closed with an object (11, 12, 13) supplied and located between the poles (5, 6) for heating or treatment. A table (14) is arranged around the core (2 ) or one pole (6) of the core to unload the core (2) from loadings from an object (12, 13).
