  • Patent number: 7676854
Abstract: This invention relates to a helmet, comprising an external shell (9) and an impact-absorbing helmet liner (10) in which the helmet liner comprises a layer provided with protruding, deformable and impact-absorbing hollow knobs (7) distributed on an substantial part of the surface of the helmet liner as a protective layer. The helmet is characterized in that the hollow knots (7) are arranged for deformation by crushing in case of external impact on the helmet, and that the helmet liner (10) with the hollow knots (7) exhibits undercut. The helmet may also comprise an impact-absorbing and preferably resilient layer (2) which may be arranged between the external shell (9) and an internal lining (11) being arranged to rest in contact with the head of a user.

  • Patent number: 6802537
Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement and a method for height adjustment of the upper attachment point of a safety belt, arranged in a vehicle with a vehicle seat which is spring-mounted in the vertical direction, where the upper attachment point is arranged displaceably in the vertical direction on the body of the vehicle. Said height adjustment takes place as a function of the springing movement of the vehicle seat, which results in the upper attachment point always remaining correctly positioned in the vertical direction.

  • Patent number: 5579202
Abstract: An air-core transformer device for supplying a high-frequency, pulsating DC voltage on the secondary side of the transformer. The primary side of the transformer has two windings which are bifilar-wound having a mutual phase relationship of 180.degree., where the end of the first winding is connected in series with the beginning of the second winding at a common junction point. The voltage supply on the primary side is controlled by a time-set or time-variable power control signal at the beginning of the first winding and at the end of the second winding. A DC voltage is supplied to the common junction point. Two oscillatory circuits are formed on the primary side by a frequency control signal supplied over a field effect transistor, and are maintained by two capacitors C1 and C2, C1 being connected in parallel with the first winding and C2 being connected in parallel with the second primary winding.

  • Patent number: 5555609
Abstract: A safety belt buckle for receiving and retaining a tongue includes a housing defining a path therein to receive the tongue. A main locking element is movable between a release position in which it does not engage the tongue, and a locking position in which it engages the tongue to retain the tongue in the buckle. A push button is movable along a longitudinal axis of the path and is positioned above the main locking element. A second locking element is mounted to the housing between the push button and the main locking element, and includes a first portion engagable by the push button, and a second portion movable to a first position to engage the main locking element to prevent movement of the main locking element to the release position. The second portion and the push button are movable along the longitudinal axis of the path in opposite directions when the main locking element is to be released so that the second portion is moved to a second position in which the main locking element is freed.

  • Patent number: 4492007
Abstract: The invention comprises safety belt fastening means of the type having a locking tongue slideably engageable with a locking device. The locking device includes a locking flap releaseably engageable with the tongue, and release means for lifting and releasing the flap from engagement with the tongue; according to the invention, blocking means are provided which retain the locking flap in a raised position when the belt is unfastened, which resist initial releasing action to increase the necessary force for unfastening the belt, and which urge the locking flap into close engagement with the tongue on fastening the seat belt. The blocking means includes a blocking flap which coacts with the locking flap, and biasing means acting on the blocking and locking flaps.
