Abstract: The invention relates to a sheet metal panel for a roof covering or wall cladding, having two cover sheets (1, 2) and an intermediate layer (11) of thermal insulating material. Applied to the cover plate (2) of the panels forming the outside is a plane photovoltaic element (17, 18) which has electric connecting cables (21, 22) and which takes the form of a flexible laminate having a cold-bonding adhesive (19, 20) on its rear side and whose electric connecting cables (21, 22) extend through bores (23) in the sheet metal panel, which are sealed with respect to physical constructional demands.
