  • Patent number: 8097998
Abstract: A directly coupled linear drive having a drive unit and a sliding element that are disposed in a frame, the sliding element, actuated by the drive unit, being capable of effecting a movement in a direction of translation with respect to the frame and having a blocking device for blocking the sliding element in the frame in the event of a shock load to the sliding element, the blocking device having a body coupled to the sliding element that absorbs the shock load and is disposed such that the shock load of the body counteracts the shock load of the sliding element.

  • Patent number: 8035269
Abstract: An electric machine having a rotor and a stator that encloses the rotor, and having a first flange arrangement on at least one end face of the stator, wherein the first flange arrangement has a first flange component that has a connecting surface which adjoins the first end face of the stator and whose geometry is adapted to the geometry of the end face of the stator so that a stator winding, which is wound onto the stator and the adjoining connecting surface, connects the stator and the first flange component to one another.

  • Publication number: 20100007209
Abstract: A device for supplying power to a load, requiring both a pre-determined supply of electrical power and high power for short durations of the operating cycle of the load, where the operating cycle is repeated. The power supply device includes a connection to an electrical grid, an AC voltage transformation circuit, a voltage rectification means and a plurality of DC/DC converters mounted in series to terminals of the load. Each of the DC/DC converters has a storage capacitor mounted in parallel to it and at least one of the DC/DC converters is supplied directly by the voltage rectification means. At least another one of the DC/DC converters is not supplied directly by the voltage rectification means. The power supply device may compensate for losses in the power supply device and load, and may substantially continually and uniformly balance voltages at terminals of the storage capacitors.
