  • Publication number: 20120015224
Abstract: A button cell includes a housing cup and a housing top separated from one another by an electrically insulating seal and which form a housing with a flat bottom area and a flat top area parallel to it and an electrode-separator assembly within the housing including at least one positive and at least one negative electrode in the form of flat layers and connected to one another by at least one flat separator, wherein the electrode layers are aligned essentially at right angles to the flat bottom and top areas and the button cell is closed without being beaded over.

  • Publication number: 20070128510
Abstract: A voltaic element including at least one lithium intercalating electrode and a housing including flexible film material through which diverters connected to positive and negative electrodes of the element are conducted exteriorly, wherein the diverter connected to the collector of the negative electrode and conducted to the exterior includes nickel-coated copper foil.

  • Patent number: 7122275
Abstract: An electrochemical element which contains a stack including two or more individual cells with positive and negative electrodes as well as separators in a housing formed from a metal sheet which is coated on the inside with insulating material. The output conductor lugs of each polarity are welded to a collector. The collector forms an external electrical connection of the electrochemical element. Those areas of the output conductor lugs and the collector which are welded to them, point towards the housing internal wall and are adjacent to the housing wall and are covered with a plastic film. The plastic film is adhesively bonded to the output conductor and to the collector with a silicone adhesive layer and is composed, for example, of polyimide.
