  • Patent number: 7743815
Abstract: The invention relates to roller blind slats having a profile which is shaped by flat sheet metal in a rolling step. A single-pieced roller blind body is associated with the roller blind slats. The roller blind body is formed with a slot on the underside thereof and a hooked strip is provided on the top edge thereof. The slot part is approximately 20% on the total surface of the roller blind slats.
    Type: Grant

Abstract: The invention relates to roller blind slats having a profile which is shaped by flat sheet metal in a rolling step. A single-pieced roller blind body is associated with the roller blind slats, said roller blind body comprising a slot which is maintained on the underside thereof and a hooked strip which is provided on the top edge thereof. The slot part is approximately 20% on the total surface of the roller blind slats.

  • Patent number: 7152655
Abstract: A flat article (4) comprises bars (6) extending parallel to one another in spaced-apart fashion, which are joined together by connecting means (7). The connecting means (7) can be designed such that they extend over the full length of the flat article (4), or alternatively they can each join together only two immediately adjacent bars (6).

  • Patent number: 4657059
Abstract: An awning including an awning box having an outlet slot and, on its end sides, bearings for a winding shaft supported in the box, the awning box being non-rotatably mounted in wall fixtures. The canvas for the awning is connected at one end to the winding shaft and at its other end to the extension bar and is guided through the outlet slot. In order to reduce installation tolerance alignment errors between adjacent awnings, and to simplify the installation, the awning box contains, at least on one side, an attachment extending in the longitudinal direction of the winding shaft. The associated wall fixture, for receiving the attachment, contains at least one bifurcated extension extending at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the winding shaft, so that the attachment is inserted in the jaw of the extension, with the jaw being open in the radial direction with respect to the winding shaft.

  • Patent number: 4615371
Abstract: A motorized awning is provided having a rotatably supported winding shaft housed in an awning box for an awning cloth capable of being wound on the winding shaft, the cloth being secured along one edge on the winding shaft and along the opposite edge on an extendable rod, an immovably supported drive motor, its output shaft coupled with the winding shaft for the automatic retraction of the awning by means of a resilient coupling member which permits at least a limited relative rotary motion between the winding shaft and the output shaft of the drive motor, a first limit switch for controlling the motor current when the cloth of the awning is retracted and a second limit switch for controlling the motor current when the cloth is extended, so that after the actuation of the limit switches the drive motor can be started only with the opposite sense of rotation.

  • Patent number: 4607676
Abstract: An awning construction includes two guide rails, disposed below a wind-up roller and extending vertically and spaced apart from and parallel to one another. The guide rails are secured to the wall of a building. Two arms, connected at one end with a cross rail extending parallel to the wind-up roller, travel inside the guide rails. In order to impar a pivoting movement of the arms, two racks are seated in the guide rails and can be made to engage two gear segments, so that when the awning web is unwound from the rolling-in position the two arms, extending substantially vertically, initially slide downward in the guide rails until the racks engage the gear segments, and then the arms pivot about the racks.
