  • Patent number: 9183766
Abstract: The present invention is a metallized shrinkable label and a method for producing the same. The label of the invention is composed of a shrinkable film base and a graphic. The graphic is created by combining pigmented inks, a metallic coating and a shrink-resistant coating which is printed in a predetermined pattern with gaps so that upon exposure of the label to heat, the gaps close thereby forming a continuous graphic layer. Advantageously, the shrink-resistant coating minimizes discoloration and pleating of the metallic coating.

  • Publication number: 20150013273
Abstract: The present invention is tamper evident shrinkable label with expanded content. The label comprises a label formed from a film having first and second ends, an adhesive coating on a backside of the label for attachment to a consumer product, an expanded content panel at least partly defined by the first end of the label and extending past the second end of the label on a consumer product, and a release coating on a front side of the label positioned opposite to releasably adhere to the backside of the expanded content panel on a consumer product.

  • Patent number: 8817347
Abstract: A preprinted holographic label or printed material for use in labeling squeezable tubes or containers as well as compact discs, computer software, cosmetics, and the like is provided. The holographic structure provides for selectively reverse-printing a reflective coating directly onto a micro-embossed holographic film or coating which is affixed to a clear thin-film and contains the micro-embossed structure. Non-reflective coatings and support structures are also provided for protecting both the graphics and embossed holographic image from contamination.
