Patent number: 11090877Abstract: A process for welding a first molding to a second molding. The process uses an implement including first and second external surfaces. Each external surface further includes a duct. An end of the first molding is heated by a hot gas while the end is at a distance from the duct-entry plane in the range from 3 mm outside the duct to 10 mm inside the duct. A junction area of the second molding is heated by a hot gas while the junction area is at a distance from the duct-entry plane in a range from 3 mm outside the duct to 10 mm inside the duct. The heated end and the heated junction area are then brought into contact with one another and cooled, forming a weld between the first molding and the second molding. Also disclosed is a welded molding obtainable by the process of the invention.Type: GrantFiled: May 5, 2017Date of Patent: August 17, 2021Assignee: BASF SEInventors: Stefan Mochev, Ulrich Endemann

Publication number: 20190201729Abstract: A muscle trainer comprising curved, elongate spring elements is disclosed. The spring elements are arranged with facing concave sides and include end areas formed at each of the ends of the spring elements. The muscle trainer includes a first joint element being formed at a first end area of each spring element and a second joint element being formed at a second end area of each spring element. The spring elements are connected at their two end areas via joints formed from the joint elements. The first joint elements are designed as brackets having a bend in the direction of the concave side of the respective spring element and in each case at least partially enclosing the second joint element of the respective other spring element. A method for producing the muscle trainer and its use as a hand trainer are disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 12, 2017Publication date: July 4, 2019Inventors: Reinhard Jakobi, Thomas Gruber, Ulrich Endemann, Thomas Hohenstein, Daniel Leutz, Andreas Nixdorf
