    Abstract: A heatpipe with a hermetically-sealed residual gas collector vessel which stands in communication with the upper end of the heatpipe. The heatpipe is characterized in that the collector vessel is arranged within the heatpipe adjacent to the vaporization end thereof in such a manner that the fluid which is to be vaporized reaches the vaporization end without hindrance, and wherein the collector vessel stands in communication with the condensation end through an open-ended narrow gas conducting tube which terminates there, and whose other end leads to the condensate collecting point in the collector vessel.
