  • Publication number: 20090021339
Abstract: The invention relates to a high-voltage fuse comprising a tubular ceramic insulating member that is provided with at least one fusible element, an inner auxiliary cap which is placed on the insulating member and at least partly covers the outer surface of the insulating member in the front area of the insulating member, and an outer top cap that is placed on the auxiliary cap and at least partly covers the outer surface of the auxiliary cap. The insulating member is provided with at least one depression. The auxiliary cap is molded against the insulating member such that a positive connection to the insulating member is created in the depression. The auxiliary cap and the top cap are molded in the area of said depression in such a way that a positive connection is created.

  • Publication number: 20050246800
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of labelling soya varieties as to their suitability as a subsequent crop to maize when weed control in that maize crop has been carried out using HPPD inhibitor herbicides, wherein: a) in a first step, a reference soya variety is selected which, when grown as a subsequent crop to maize wherein weed control has been carried out using HPPD inhibitor herbicides, exhibits a visually determinable phytotoxicity with respect to those HPPD inhibitor herbicides; b) in a second step, the phytotoxicity of soya varieties when grown as a subsequent crop to maize wherein weed control has been carried out using HPPD inhibitor herbicides is determined in relation to that reference soya variety in the form of a factor; and c) in a third step, said soya varieties are labelled with said factor.

  • Patent number: 6662057
Abstract: A computer system and method for executing several processes in tandem, that includes a scarce resource, which is accessed by the processes to be executed. A first device is provided for computing the capacity load of the scarce resource, a second device is provided for determining a load responsibility of a process that accesses the scarce resource, and a third device is provided for delaying the execution of a process that accesses the scarce resource depending on each of the capacity load, the critical capacity load of the scarce resource, and the load responsibility of the process. In this way, a blocking of the scarce resource with a limited capacity, and thus of the computer system, can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 6307838
Abstract: A method for controlling an acceptance or refusal of a new connection on an ATM communication device with a maximum capacity Rmax and is already handling M connections which can be statistically multiplexed. The new connection has a peak cell rate PCR and an average sustainable cell rate SCR. The method determines a sum PM+1=&Sgr;PCRi of the peak cell rates PCR and a sum SM+1=&Sgr;SCRi of the average sustainable cell rates SCR of the existing connections M and the new connection. A variance V of the cell rates of the M+1 connections is determined and a required capacity loadM+1 for the M connections is determined in dependence on PM, SM and V, and the new connection is accepted if load M+1 is less than or equal to Rmax. The connection acceptance control can be carried out faster, more effectively and independently of the sequence of accepted connections by the exact calculation of the required capacity of the communication connections.
