  • Patent number: 11732410
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to the detection of the discard state of high-strength fiber ropes. The invention relates to a device for detecting the discard state of high-strength fiber ropes for various operating conditions, wherein a rope core of the fiber rope is sheathed with a rope sheath which is intended to wear more quickly than the rope core, comprising an optical detection device for detecting the rope surface and/or a load spectrum counter for detecting the load cycles to which the fiber rope is subjected, and on the other hand to a lifting gear such as a crane comprising such a device. According to the invention, there is provided a detection device for detecting the light absorption coefficient and/or the degree of reflection of the rope sheath and an adaptation device for adapting the algorithm, by means of which the discard state is determined, in dependence on the detected light absorption coefficient and/or the detected degree of reflection.

  • Publication number: 20220324680
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for recognising a setup state of a crane in which a crane setup state input manually into the crane controller is compared with the actual current setup state, comprising the steps of determining the target position of at least one target crane element installed on the crane on the basis of a crane setup state stored in the crane controller and at least one crane sensor value, transmitting the one or more pieces of target position data to a mobile flying device, moving the flying device into a region in the immediate vicinity of the target position of the target crane element and detecting and identifying a current crane element located there using a detection means, and identifying the current crane element detected in the detection region and establishing whether the detected crane element corresponds to the target crane element.

  • Patent number: 9517769
Abstract: A motor vehicle has a control device to control automated longitudinal and/or transverse guidance of the motor vehicle within the scope of a specific driving maneuver. The motor vehicle also has an operator control element to communicate with the control device and to transfer control information, relating to the at least partially automated longitudinal and/or transverse guidance, to the control device. The control device is configured in such a way that activation or deactivation of the longitudinal and/or transverse guidance can be controlled by means of an operator-side first operator-control action at the operator-control element, and at least one driving parameter which influences the longitudinal and/or transverse guidance of the motor vehicle, controlled by the control device, can be modified by means of an additional operator-side, second operator-control action at the operator-control element, which second operator-control action is in particular different from the first operator-control action.

  • Patent number: 5799807
Abstract: The present invention relates to a mobile crane with a telescoping jib hinged to its superstructure which jib can be luffed by a luffing ram which is hinged to the telescoping jib and the superstructure, with a guy pole hinged on the rear side of the telescoping jib in the upper area of its hinge section which guy pole can be raised by a hydraulic ram, and with a winch by which a guy rope extending from the tip of the guy pole to the top part of the inner telescope section or a truss of an upper telescope section can be tautened. In accordance with the invention the guy pole is guyed over the superstructure, the base or the hinge axle of the hinge section or the lower area of the hinge section by a rope or by a rod of a predetermined length and the winch is positioned in the area of the tip of the guy pole.
