  • Patent number: 8727923
Abstract: A drivetrain has at least one drive machine (2, 3) with a drive output shaft (6) that can be coupled via a transmission (10) to at least one drive wheel. The transmission (10) is mounted on the drive machine (2, 3) and has a planetary gear set (18). To reduce the expenditure for the development and/or manufacture of the drivetrain, the transmission (10) has different mounting positions rotated relative to the drive output shaft (6) of the drive machine (2, 3).
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20070039475
Abstract: A device for defoaming and/or deaeration of oil in the lubricant system of an internal combustion engine in which the lubricant oil flowing back into an oil pan is conveyable by an oil suction pump into a separate oil tank. The device has an oil separator, preferably mounted on the oil tank. The oil separator has a deaeration space (10) which accommodates a wire mesh body (20).

  • Patent number: 7021444
Abstract: A friction clutch intended for a drive assembly of a motor vehicle, operates between an internal-combustion engine and a transmission. The clutch has a clutch release device arranged inside a transmission/clutch housing and has a clutch release bearing and a hydraulic operating device with a cylinder housing and an operating piston operating in the cylinder housing. For optimizing the clutch release device of the friction clutch, the cylinder housing of the hydraulic operating device of the clutch release device is mounted on a bearing structure arranged adjacent to the internal-combustion engine and the friction clutch, which bearing structure is constructed independently of the clutch housing.

  • Patent number: 6981566
Abstract: This drive assembly is suitable for a motor vehicle, particularly a passenger car of the sportscar type, and comprises an internal-combustion engine, a clutch and a transmission which form a constructional unit. The drive assembly is fastened by means of several bearings on a carrying structure of a vehicle body of the passenger car. For an advantageous installation of the drive assembly, a first bearing interacting with a first bearing receiving device of the carrying structure is provided approximately in a longitudinal center plane of the passenger car on a free side of the internal-combustion engine, in which case, a second bearing and a third bearing are mounted outside the longitudinal center plane in the area of a free end of the transmission, which hold second and third bearing receiving devices of the carrying structure in position.

  • Publication number: 20040168543
Abstract: A driving unit is appropriate for a motor vehicle, especially a passenger automobile of the sport car type, a driving unit which comprises an internal combustion engine and a housing component, preferably to accommodate a clutch, a transmission and a differential. In order to optimize the driving unit, the housing component, which receives the clutch and is joined to the internal combustion engine, has first bearings and second bearings for an input shaft as well as an output shaft of the transmission and third bearings for the differential, while a container area for containing a dry sump lubrication of the internal combustion engine is integrated into the housing component.
