  • Patent number: 10197095
Abstract: A hydrodynamic plain bearing has a bearing shell with an inner surface forming a bearing surface for a rotating shaft or the like. The bearing surface, in order to form a bearing having a multi-wedge bore, has a plurality of surface segments arranged one after the other in the circumferential direction and each forming a circle segment having a radius R by way of the inner circumference of the surface segments. The center point of the circle segment of each surface segment is shifted relative to a center point of the bearing shell by an eccentricity. The bearing shell has two halves, each extending over 180° of the bearing surface and joined in a joint plane. At least one surface segment is offset from the center point of the bearing shell along an offset plane at an angle to the joint plane in the circumferential direction of the bearing shell.

  • Patent number: 10100837
Abstract: An integral transmission; comprising a driving gear connected to a driving shaft for co-joint rotation, a large gear engaging with the driving gear, a first driven gear engaging with the large gear, and at least one additional driven gear which engages with the driving gear; wherein an axis of rotation of the driving gear and an axis of rotation of the first driven gear engaging with the large gear are arranged in a plane of alignment, an axis of rotation of the large gear is offset in the vertical direction with respect to the plane of alignment, and an axis of rotation of the at least one additional driven gear engaging with the driving gear is located in the plane of alignment. A geared compressor system; comprising the integral transmission and a drive unit.

  • Patent number: 8627746
Abstract: A transmission installed between a drive machine and a unit to be driven, the transmission being fitted with a drive shaft and a driven shaft, wherein the drive shaft is in driving connection with the driven shaft for speed/torque conversion, and wherein the driven shaft is supported in the transmission using at least one primary axial bearing. The transmission including a starting unit absorbing axial loads of the driven shaft, wherein the starting unit comprises a secondary axial bearing, and wherein the starting unit is formed in such a way that when the unit is actuated, the axial loads of the driven shaft are substantially completely absorbed by the secondary axial bearing.

  • Publication number: 20120002909
Abstract: The invention concerns a transmission, in particular a compressor transmission, which is installed between a drive machine and a unit to be driven; fitted with a drive shaft and a driven shaft; wherein the drive shaft is in driving connection with the driven shaft for speed/torque conversion; the driven shaft is supported in the transmission by means of at least one primary axial bearing. The invention is characterised by the following features: a starting unit is provided for absorbing the axial loads of the driven shaft; the starting unit comprises a secondary axial bearing; the starting unit is formed in such a way that when said unit is actuated, the axial loads of the driven shaft are substantially completely absorbed by the secondary axial bearing.
