  • Patent number: 5127758
Abstract: A pipe joint for joining several pipes used in a pipe grid structure such as a scaffold. Each pipe (3) is connected, by way of a connecting member (17) inserted into its interior from the end of the pipe and by way of a clamping device (16) composed of two opposing clamping jaws (21, 22) held together by a screw connection (20), with the continuous or discontinuous peripheral extension (9) of a connecting element (1).

  • Patent number: 4907907
Abstract: The invention relates to a linking device for connecting the front end of a pipe to a structural component, particularly to a sphere to form a junction point with a plurality of pipe connections. The subject of the invention is distinguished in that the pipe (2) has an axially extending longitudinal channel (7) into which is inserted from the front a securing element (4) which is connected via a clamping device (6), abutting with its ends on the pipe (2) and on a structural component (3) and consisting of two opposed clamping jaws (19, 20) held together by a screw connection (39), with a connecting element (5) fixed opposite from the securing element (4) on the structural component (3).

  • Patent number: 4817897
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cross connector for two continuous pipes that cross over each other at any desired angle, the connector comprising two pipe clamps that encircle the two pipes to be connected, and each of which has two clamp arms that have a gap between them. The object of the invention is characterized in that the pair of clamp arms (6) of one pipe clamp (1) is inserted at the front side into the pair of clamp arms (7) of the other pipe clamp (2) and held by means of a snap connection so as to be able to rotate freely; and in that the outer clamp arm pair (7) can be tightened securely against the inner clamp arm pair (6) by means of a tightening device.

  • Patent number: 4602457
Abstract: There is provided a fitting for a window for single-handedly swinging and tilting such window, said fitting being arranged, with the exception of the operating handle provided with a position-arresting facility, concealed between the frame and casement of the window, with at least one lock facility consisting of a lock pin on the casement side as well as a lock plate on the frame side; a tilting facility associated with the bottom cross member of the window frame; a bottom hinge for swinging and tilting; and a swinging top hinge cooperating with a scissors-type lever system or linkage for tilting the window. The window fitting includes a flat belt revolving in the casement of the window in a guide channel with inserted corner turning facilities, the flat belt being rigidly connected with a driving lug for the operating handle, the lock pin of the lock facility, a lock element of the tilting facility and with a lock element of the scissors-type lever system for tilting the window.

  • Patent number: 4312905
Abstract: A heat-damming compound profile for window or door frames or similar components in which there is provided two metal profile rods and an intermediate layer connecting these profile rods. The intermediate layer is composed of a profiled shape-retaining insulating strip. Each profile bar is provided with a forcible guide for the insulating strip and are connected by oppositely located lugs outside the insulating strip. Each lug is provided with a small continuous cam which is movable against a corresponding projection of the insulating strip. The invention also provides a method of making a heat-damming compound profile by pushing the insulating strip into the forcible guides and into the lateral pins of the profile bars, and exerting pressure from the exterior by means of rollers or pressure gliders upon the metallic lugs at simultaneous directed support of the profile bars at the sides opposite the lugs.
