    Abstract: Polyaddition compounds containing uretdione groups prepared by reacting uretdione polyisocyanates formed from diisocyanates having exclusively secondary- and/or tertiary-attached isocyanate groups with a molar fraction of isocyanurate structures, based on the sum of uretdione groups and isocyanurate groups, of not more than 10%, with compounds reactive towards isocyanates. The polyaddition compounds can be use as a starting component in the preparation of polyurethane plastics, in particular as crosslinkers for heat-crosslinkable powder coating materials. The compounds may be used as starting components in the preparation of moldings and shaped parts, and as starting components in the preparation of coating materials and coatings.

    Abstract: For obtaining a hose clamp which has a continuously smooth inner surface free of gaps and which requires an as short as possible length of band material, the inner band end portion is provided with a tongue the length of which is approximately half the amount by which the hose clamp is narrowed during tightening. During the first half of the tightening movement, the tongue is guided transversely to the band longitudinal direction by a projection which engages a slot provided in the outer band portion. The slot at its end is continued by a window which starts at a step, and the tongue, during the second half of the tightening movement, passes through the window which then takes over the guidance of the tongue.

    Abstract: A hose clamp for limited diameters, in the form of an open band ring having overlapping band ends, is manufactured from the band material of an insert as is used in conventional hose clamps for bridging an ear gap, such insert being typically made of steel according to DIN 1.4310 having a thickness of 0.3 mm. An opening is provided near one band end and a hook for engaging the opening is provided near the other band end. For closing this hose clamp, a gripper-type tool is used, the two jaws of which, in the closed condition, constitute an essentially uninterrupted inner surface having a diameter corresponding to the outer diameter of the closed hose clamp.
