  • Patent number: 6607074
Abstract: A drive station for a chain scraper conveyor for mining operations, in which the height position of a drive shaft, can be set by means of an adaptor plate (50), which can be fastened at different height levels on the machine frame of the drive station. The adaptor plates (50) includes a machine frame side inner side (52) and a drive side outer side (53), onto which the drive set can be fastened. The position of fastening screws (56), (57) in elongate holes (54), (55), in the adaptor plate (50) the direction of an asymmetric setting key (30) and the rotational position of an annular disc plate (40) with an outer ring (42) arranged eccentrically to an inner ring (41), determine the assembly position in each case.

  • Publication number: 20020074215
Abstract: In a drive station for a chain scraper conveyor for mining operations the height position of the drive shaft, having a chain sprocket, can be set by means of an adaptor plate 50, which can be fastened at different height levels on a flange mounting zone on the machine frame of the drive station. The adaptor plates 50 have a machine frame side inner side 52 and a drive side outer side 53, onto which a drive set can be fastened. The adaptor plate 50 is fixed in position by means of fastening screws 56, 57 which engage through elongate holes 54, 55 into the machine frame. The position of the fastening screws 56, 57 in the elongate holes 54, 55, the direction of an asymmetric setting key 30 and the rotational position of an annular disc plate 40 with an outer ring 42 arranged eccentrically to an inner ring 41 determine the assembly position in each case.

  • Patent number: 4478810
Abstract: A method of treating final products from a flue gas desulfurization. The flue gas desulfurization is carried out by the absorption of sulfur oxide in a spray dryer with a suspension which contains lime, or in a reactor with a dry, fine-grained, absorbent which contains lime. Prior to desulfurization, the fly ash carried along by the flue gas which is to be desulfurized is separated entirely, partially, or not at all from the flue gas, and the final products from the flue gas desulfurization, prior to any further treatment thereof, amount to 1-99% by weight, preferably 1-70% by weight, of fly ash, and 1-99% by weight, preferably 30-99% by weight, of the sum of the desulfurization products, preferably calcium sulfite hemihydrate, and/or calcium sulfite, and/or calcium sulfate dyhydrate, and/or calcium sulfate hemihydrate, and/or calcium sulfate, as well as residue of the absorbent. The reduction of the amount of calcium sulfite is implemented by a dry oxidation with air.

  • Patent number: 4389072
Abstract: A mineral mining installation comprises a longwall conveyor, a plough movable to and fro along a guide fixed to the face side of the longwall conveyor, and a drive station at one end of the longwall conveyor. The drive station includes a drive frame supporting drive means for driving the longwall conveyor. A support beam is provided at the goaf side of the drive station. The support beam extends substantially parallel to the drive frame. A floor plate extends beneath the drive frame. The goaf-side end portion of the floor plate is supported on the support beam by means of a lifting device, whereby the goaf-side end portion of the floor plate can be moved up and down relative to the support beam by the lifting device.

  • Patent number: 4355013
Abstract: A process for removing acidic and other polluting components from flue gases exhausted from a boiler installation and passed through a preliminary air heater, then through a dust separator and desulphurization means; a partial current of the flue gases is branched off upstream of the air heater and passed through an auxiliary dust separator and a spray drier which is supplied with washing liquid from the desulphurization means, and thereupon the partial current is reunited with the main gas current downstream of the air preheater.

  • Patent number: 4305748
Abstract: Ammonium sulfate in dissolved form is dried in a gas current to obtain the ammonium sulfate in finely divided form. Thereafter the ammonium sulfate is quickly placed into a pelletizing device, subjected to a fine water spray, pelletized to substantially uniform grain size, and dried if necessary and/or desired.
