Abstract: A polisher nozzle for dental treatment comprises a body extending between a proximal portion for connection to a handpiece and a distal portion. The body has a first channel for delivering a dental polishing powder and a second channel for delivering a fluid. The two channels each open out to at least one respective orifice opening out in the vicinity of the free end of the distal portion wherein the free end of the distal portion forms a spatula extending in line with the distal portion downstream from the orifices. The spatula is arranged at a distance from the orifices in such a manner as to disturb at least in part the flow formed by the dental polishing powder combining with the fluid leaving the orifices.

Abstract: The ablator is made with synthetic resins reinforced so as to resist the mechanical stresses of flexion and abrasion. The resins are reinforced with metallic or non-metallic fibers totally incorporated in them, and are reinforced against wear due to abrasion by a modification in their surface molecular structure by means of a process of ionic implantation or similar procedures. Preferably, the synthetic resins used belong to the group of polyarylamides which exhibit better characteristics of mechanical resistance and of the duration of the sharpened edge of the ablator.

Abstract: A dental cleaner in the nature of a toothpick has an elongated stable support which is covered with fine plastic flock particles of a small diameter in order to effectively clean small gaps between the teeth, between bridge anchors and in the sulcus region and to function as a type of "micro-bottle cleaner" for the spaces where plaque needs to be cleaned from the teeth.
