  • Patent number: 5892411
Abstract: A data transmission device has a first module and a second module moveable relative to one another. One of the modules functions as a sending module and the other functions as a receiving module for transmitting data between first and second modules. One of the modules is an electrical line with a defined surge impedance and the other module is a coupling probe for coupling contact-free with the electrical line. A first sending and receiving electronic circuit is connected to the first module. A second sending and receiving electronic circuit is connected to the second module.

  • Patent number: 5814900
Abstract: A device in the form of a transformer for transmitting electrical energy is comprised of a core of a ferromagnetic material and a primary coil and a secondary coil wound about the core. At least one receiver in the form of an areal antenna and at least one sender in the form an areal antenna are arranged in the direct vicinity of the primary and secondary coils for a contact-free transmittal of changing signals. The receiver and the sender are connected interchangeably to receiving and sending electronics devices, whereby the receiver and the sender form a constructive unit with the primary coil, the secondary coil, and optionally the core. The device allows the simultaneous transmittal of electric energy between components that are adjustable relative to one another as well as the transmittal of changing signals. The power transmittal in the kilowatt range is only limited by the respective constructive size of the device. A high data transmittal rate of analog or digital changing signals is possible.

  • Patent number: 5804892
Abstract: A device for contact-free transmission of electrical energy from at least one power supply to at least one consumer has a first transformer having connected thereto a first current converting device and a second transformer having connected thereto a second current converting device. A first endless, closed-loop electrical conductor is provided for coupling electrically in a contact-free manner the first and second transformers. At least one of the transformers supplies electrical energy to the electrical conductor and at least one of the transformers receives electrical energy from the electrical conductor.
