  • Patent number: 8287983
Abstract: The invention describes a velour needle-punched nonwoven material, which is produced by placing an optionally pre-strengthened nonwoven material on a brush-like stitch base and needling of the nonwoven on this stitch base. The velour needle-punched nonwoven material according to the invention is characterized in that the nonwoven material comprises a spun-bound nonwoven with filaments, wherein the filaments comprise multicomponent filaments with at least one component with a high melting point and at least one thermally activatable component with a low melting point. The velour needle-punched nonwoven material according to the invention not only has excellent mechanical properties, it is also particularly compatible with the environment and health and therefore suited for applications as a textile lining not only in the private field, but particularly in the public domain.

  • Publication number: 20090053460
Abstract: The invention is intended to provide a simple and economical method for producing a ductile tufted product, particularly a tufted upper carpet layer that is particularly ductile, in particular for the automotive interior area. For this purpose, a melt-blown non-woven fabric is placed on a ductile polyester tufted backing and the melt-blown non-woven fabric and the polyester tufted backing are tufted together.

  • Publication number: 20080237073
Abstract: A packaging for a planar data medium (2) is described, comprising a base plate (1) having a receiving recess (3) for the data medium (2) and two cover foils (4, 5) covering the receiving recess (3) on both sides of the base plate (1), of which one forms a defined severing line (6) which connects the two ends (7) of a removal opening (8) resulting from tearing open the defined severing line (6) and delimits a hinged cover (10) which can be bent up about a base determined by the two ends (7) of the removal opening (8), with the removal opening (8) extending over a length corresponding to the clearance of the receiving recess (3) as measured in the direction of said boundary area (9).

  • Publication number: 20020127934
Abstract: A tufted backing and a method of manufacturing a tufted backing from thermoplastic polymer fibers or filaments that are processed to yield a spunbonded nonwoven are described, the spunbonded nonwoven containing only fibers or filaments having a titer of 1 to 15 dtex, the mass per unit area of the tufted backing being 70 to 110 g/m2, its density being 0.18 to 0.28 g/cm3 and the 5% modulus value in the machine direction being >60 N/5 cm, but at least 0.6 N/gm2.
