  • Publication number: 20250077476
Abstract: Technologies for massively parallel data compression are disclosed. An example method includes receiving a data file, establishing a global offset at a first data of the data file, and substantially simultaneously causing a plurality of threads of a graphics processing unit (GPU) to compare respective data sequences with a first data sequence that includes the first data. Each thread of the plurality of threads may compare a different respective data sequence, and each respective data sequence may be offset from every other respective data sequence and the first data sequence. The example method may further include determining a optimal data sequence corresponding to the first data sequence from the respective data sequences, storing the optimal data sequence in a reference table, updating the global offset based on the optimal data sequence, and iteratively performing these steps until the global offset is a beginning or an end of the data file.

  • Patent number: 10153058
Abstract: To predict which Hepatitis C patients are at high-risk for disease progression or adverse health outcomes, baseline characteristics are measured for patients as well as longitudinal data, including clinical, laboratory and/or biopsy results, which may be collected periodically in follow-up visits with a healthcare professional. A machine learning engine may predict whether a patient is at high-risk for disease progression or adverse health outcomes based on the baseline characteristics and the longitudinal data for the patient.

  • Publication number: 20070059716
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of identifying fetal abnormality from a maternal blood sample by capturing an image of a fetal nucleated red blood cell obtained from the maternal blood sample; inputting probe intensities for a plurality of nucleic acid probes that bind fetal nucleic acids of interest; analyzing the probe intensities; and generating a diagnostic output according to results of the analysis. In some embodiments, the probes are specific to a chromosome.

  • Publication number: 20050282293
Abstract: The invention features methods and devices for the delivery of a fluid medium containing analytes, e.g., particles, solutes, or solvents, to an analytical device. The systems are designed to minimize contact with potentially hazardous, fragile, or valuable samples. The systems allow for the dilution, mixing, and introduction of the fluid medium to an analytical device, followed by possible further analysis or sample manipulation.
