  • Patent number: 10380633
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to generate corrected online audience measurement data are disclosed. An example method includes determining a corrected audience count of streaming media for a demographic group by: calculating a deduplication factor for a demographic group using a first audience count, a second audience count, and a third audience count; estimating a fourth audience count for the demographic group, the fourth audience count indicative of a number of people who accessed the streaming media; estimating a fifth audience count for the demographic group, the fifth audience count indicative of a number of people who accessed text content; and applying the deduplication factor to a sum of the fourth audience count and the fifth audience count to determine the corrected audience count. The example method also includes generating ratings information for the streaming media based on subtracting the corrected audience count from the first audience count.

  • Patent number: 10208254
Abstract: Systems for heating a body of crushed hydrocarbonaceous material to produce hydrocarbons therefrom can involve heating multiple zones of the body of material sequentially. An exemplary system can include a body of crushed hydrocarbonaceous material having a lower zone and an upper zone. A lower heating conduit can be embedded in the lower zone, while an upper heating conduit is embedded in the upper zone. A collection conduit is embedded in the upper zone at a location above the upper heating conduit. A lower heating valve is also operatively associated with the lower heating conduit and is capable of switchably flowing a heat transfer fluid through the lower heating conduit. An upper heating valve is operatively associated with the upper heating conduit and capable of switchably flowing the heat transfer fluid through the upper heating conduit.

  • Patent number: 9914879
Abstract: Methods and systems of heating a body of crushed hydrocarbonaceous material to produce hydrocarbons therefrom can involve heating multiple zones of the body of material sequentially. An exemplary method can include forming a body of crushed hydrocarbonaceous material having a first zone and a second zone. The first zone can be heated in a first heating stage to form a dynamic high temperature production region in the first zone. A cooling fluid can then be injected into the first zone after the high temperature production region forms. The high temperature production region can move into the second zone in a second heating stage. Hydrocarbons can be collected from the body of crushed hydrocarbonaceous material during both the first and second heating stages.

  • Publication number: 20160379235
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to enable duplication correction for broadcast station audience measurement data are disclosed. An example method includes mapping, by executing an instruction with a processor, listening data to a daypart and a demographic group, the listening data generated based on collected audience measurement data, calculating, by executing an instruction with the processor, a first audience measurement and a second audience measurement from the listening data for a plurality of daypart-demographic group pairings, determining, by executing an instruction with the processor, an unduplication factor for a first daypart-demographic group pairing based on the first audience measurement and the second audience measurement, and applying, by executing an instruction with the processor, the unduplication factor to an audience count associated with a streaming station to determine a cumulative audience measurement for the first daypart-demographic group pairing.

  • Publication number: 20160379234
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to correct attribution errors and coverage bias for digital audio ratings are disclosed. An example method includes applying, by executing an instruction with a processor, a duration-based count matrix to first demographic data associated with collected impressions of digital audio to determine second demographic data, the duration-based count matrix being based on a misattribution adjustment matrix, applying, by executing an instruction with the processor, a coverage adjustment vector to the second demographic data to determine third demographic data, applying, by executing an instruction with the processor, a scaling factor to the third demographic data to determine fourth demographic data, and generating, by executing an instruction with the processor, ratings data at a daypart-level using the fourth demographic data, the ratings data associated with the digital audio.

  • Patent number: 5984210
Abstract: A fuel injector includes a solenoid having two armatures which are complementarily shaped to define a stepped armature gap.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 5986871
Abstract: A method of operating a fuel injector comprises the steps of applying a test waveform to a solenoid coil of the injector to cause a response by an armature assembly and measuring the response of the armature assembly while the test waveform is applied to the solenoid coil. A control waveform for the injector is developed as a function of the variation of the measured response of the armature from a selected operational characteristic. The developed control waveform is thereafter applied to the solenoid coil to cause the armature assembly to approach a nominal position.
