  • Patent number: 11950252
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which repetitions of communications may be configured for multi-transport block (TB) communications. A UE may determine that an acknowledgment of one or more initial repetitions of one or more TBs is received, and may cancel one or more subsequent repetitions of the acknowledged TB(s). The acknowledgment of the one or more initial repetitions may be provided by a base station in a new resource grant that provides an implicit acknowledgment of one or more TBs. In cases where multiple different TBs may be associated with the prior resource grant, the UE can determine to drop one or more repetitions after an implicit acknowledgment of a TB based on whether the resource grants are for a single TB or are for multiple TBs.

  • Patent number: 11943776
Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communications includes a processor, and a memory coupled with the processor and storing instructions operable, when executed by the processor, to cause the apparatus to output a pre-configured uplink resource (PUR) configuration information comprising a least significant bit (LSB) associated with a hyper system frame number (H-SFN). Execution of the instructions further cause the apparatus to obtain, from a user equipment (UE) at a PUR start time, a first message on a PUR associated with the PUR configuration information, the PUR start time associated with the H-SFN corresponding to the LSB.

  • Patent number: 11930552
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may start a timer after a repetition of a communication, where calculation of a length of the timer includes an offset that corresponds to a propagation delay between the UE and a base station via a non-terrestrial network (NTN) entity. The UE may start a discontinuous reception (DRX) retransmission timer after expiration of the timer. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Patent number: 11914056
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine a position (e.g., a global navigation satellite system (GNSS)) position of the UE based on a relative position of the UE to another UE. For example, a first UE may determine (e.g., calculate, receive) a relative position of the first UE to a second UE that is selected from a set of UEs including the first UE and the second UE to perform a position acquisition procedure to determine a position of the second UE. The first UE may determine (e.g., calculate, receive) its position based on the relative position of the first UE to the second UE and the position of the second UE and may reset a timer that indicates for the first UE to perform a position acquisition procedure upon expiration of the timer.

  • Patent number: 11488226
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to method and system for designing the formulated products. Conventional techniques for designing the formulated products, meeting final functional properties, are limited. Further, understanding user requirements and active incorporation of the user requirements during design phase is quite challenging. The present disclosure herein provides method and system that solve the technical problem of extracting the functional requirement by establishing continuous conversation with the user. An optimal prediction function for each functional requirement is determined by using a plurality of prediction models. An optimization technique along with an objective function is employed to determine optimized solutions comprising list of ingredients, possible concentration level of each ingredient, the process parameters, and the operating parameters for obtaining the desired formulation based on the user requirement.

  • Patent number: 11475180
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF AIR ENTRAPMENT IN LADLES performing various refining operations at a secondary steel making stage of a ladle is challenging as it requires huge time and resources. The present subject matter discloses a technique for determination of air entrapment in a ladle. In an embodiment, method uses transient computational fluid dynamics modeling for simulating tapping process of liquid steel and tracking the interface with respect to time. By carrying out the parametric study for different geometrical and operational parameters, training and validation data is generated which is then used for training an artificial neural network model. The new ladle geometrical and operational input parameters for which output parameters are required are then used to predict the air entrapment.

  • Publication number: 20220317660
Abstract: The present disclosure addresses the technical problem of prediction of a preheat refractory temperature profile of a ladle furnace. Operational temperature of the ladle furnace, stability of sensors and placement make sensors not feasible. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations require large computation time and cannot be used for runtime applications in plants. The method and system of the present disclosure uses CFD modeling to carry out parametric study to generate data which is further processed to train an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model that serves as a prediction model for predicting the preheat refractory temperature profile for at least a portion of the side refractory and at least a portion of the bottom refractory layer separately for which a new set of input data is obtained. The trained prediction model of the present disclosure provides a quick runtime prediction in plants.
